I was an Algobox user since the year 2012. I gotta agree, There were more good stuffs back then comparing to now. Via Algobox for the last 5 years, I learned how to improve my scenes, made some friends, etc.
Well, about that "for-user" thing,it actually started as a marble race scene. At first, we don't see much harm in it, so we ignored it. But God, were we wrong. Algicosathlon trend started to rise and spread like wildfire, causing tons of scenes getting spammed in Algobox. Due to this, many people who invested their time making quality scenes are getting really upset because their scenes are getting pushed off by these algicosathlon scenes. Heck, even some great-quality algobox users like cata gave up. He/She left us and deleted nearly all of his/her scenes.
Some users like pnvv, The Linkage, InsertNameHere, and others including me tried to protest against these scene spamming. Algobox turned into a war-zone for months if I'm not mistaken. Admins of Algobox do try to make it better by making tags to separate both of these algothon scenes and advanced scenes apart, but it didn't help out that much, sadly.
And now, as you see, there are tons of these "for-user" scenes and some(NOT ALL, BUT SOME) stick art 'scenes' turning Algodoo into something like Deviantart.
I was pretty much disappointed that this happened to Algobox. Now, spotting good scenes are pretty much rare, if you ask me...
@Stormstar- >If Algodoo gets a new admin before 2019, then the Algobox belongs to the marble/camp Algodooers and you will use something else. Otherwise, we'll quit.
Mind giving me and the rest of us an explanation why is that a good idea?
@Stormstar-
Well I suppose that you have no concrete explanation/reason to why is this a good idea: "If Algodoo gets a new admin before 2019, then the Algobox belongs to the marble/camp Algodooers and you will use something else. Otherwise, we'll quit."
That's a nice improvement you did there. I'm also impressed that you're able to simplify my complex equation for fAngle and _forecast which is now renamed as fPos
I'm even more impressed that your version of these equations have more precise predictions! If compared, my forecasting equation usually struggles in precision when I increased its forecast time ( 0.3 seconds to 0.5 seconds ). But your forecasting equation managed to predict up to 2 whole seconds!
Anyways, I noticed that you're also trying to forecast the object's velocity, so I decided to check the "frame" 's velocity out of curiosity and it suddenly crashed algodoo whenever I tried to open it (velocity window).
@Xray - I honestly don't know the difference, frankly, I used both of those words at random times so I don't sound repetitive. Besides, English isn't even my first language
This car is something you'd probably see in Facebook Marketplace and it has a description which is roughly something like $5000 OBO I know what I have (I know 5 grand sounded too much but you get the idea)
You can increase the motor speed by typing in how many rpms you want.
For example, you want a 900rpm motor, then you just type in '900' in the motor speed text box
