You know that's pretty strange, don't you? And why do you make comments to yourself, as if the person who made this scene is not YOU?

FRA32 - You must have not been around here a few weeks ago when virtually all out WAR was taking place here on Algobox. I say that because your message scene simply repeats many of the complaints and suggestions that have already been posted at least a dozen or so times over that time period. Emanuel (Algoryx employee) and I came up with posting a message scene where people can post their complaints and suggestions about how to possibly fix Algobox HERE and Emanuel replied to it with some possible ideas of his own, but he left it open-ended as to WHEN those changes might get done. Since I am an Admin, I do occasionally have contact with Emanuel over Skype, but even then, he is hard to het hold of. Sometimes he answers my questions and suggestions right away, and other times he doesn't reply at all. But the one thing that I am certain about is the fact that Emanuel, for whatever reason (busy?) devotes little to no time to Algobox, and I don't believe that anything will change in the foreseeable future. He might devote some time to a five minute "bandaid" fix, but I doubt that any serious time, money, and resources will ever be devoted to fixing or improving Algobox. In my opinion, it needs some fairly significant fixes and improvements in order to bring the website up to current standards. But that will probably never happen.

FRA32 - It used to be that way, but now (unfortunately) Emanuel from Algoryx wants me to let just about anything go here on Algobox. The only things that I am allowed to delete and/or give warnings about, are scenes that violate the Algodoo Terms Of Service (aka, "Rules"). So, for example, if a scene has profanity in it, or sexual content, or if a user tries to sell stuff, etc., then I can delete it. But if a scene was made by a 5 year old baby, is stupidly simple, is totally senseless, and in most people's opinion is a total waste of everyone's time, I am supposed to leave it alone.

PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON "REPORT" FOR POSTING NONSENSE COMMENTS! "REPORT" SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOR REPORTING OTHER PEOPLE WHO BREAK THE RULES (USE PROFANITY, OR THREATEN OTHER USERS). NO! It's not Okay when you do weird things. Please stop using the REPORT link for making senseless comments. I don't care if you make comments to yourself here in the comments section, but you must stop abusing the Report link. Whether you use a standard Internet Browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, or some other commercially purchased browser, OR if you use the Algodoo built-in browser, you will find the word "Report" near the top of the scene description page. NEVER CLICK ON THAT WORD "Report" unless you want to report another user for posting bad words or for other things they did that was bad. If you do not want to report another user, but only want to post a comment, DO NOT CLICK ON THE WORD REPORT!

If you do not understand what I am telling you, then please ask an adult to explain this to you in words that you can understand.

No, others are NOT doing Report! Why do you say that when you have no way of knowing if someone clicks on Report! When you click on Report, your message goes directly to ME and to no one else. So, please stop your lying, and please stop sending stupid reports that are senseless. You make yourself look like an idiot when you do that. You have been sending me senseless reports for many days and I am getting tired of it. If you do not stop sending stupid reports to me, I will have to ban you.

FRA32 - Algobox was in MUCH better condition before my hands were tied by Emanuel. Some people hated me because I was deleting what I considered "Junk" or worthless scenes, and I was not allowing "message" only scenes. I was hated, but Algobox was working like it was supposed to work! The only negative thing about that is the fact that it burdened me with a lot more time and a lot more effort than I devote to Algobox now. Because Emanuel wants me to allow virtually ALL scenes to be posted (unless they violate the Algodoo Terms of Service) I now have a very easy job, but look at what's happening because of it! A society without rules very quickly becomes an anarchy, and that's what I see Algobox turning into.

T'wind - If I do WHAT? Well, whatever you are talking about, yes of course Emanuel can see what goes on because he occasionally looks over Algobox and the Algodoo forum to see how things are going. If he sees something that concerns him, then he will sometimes contact me through Skype to ask me about it.

FRA32 - You are misinformed about a few things. First off, yes I CAN punish users who break the rules, and the only form of "punishment" that I have at my disposal is banning. I can ban a user for a number of days, which can be any number between one and infinity. For minor infractions, I may just send the user a warning.

As an Admin, my primary role is to make sure that people do not violate the Algodoo Terms of Service (also known as "Rules"). If they do, then I warn them, and if they continue their bad behavior after warning, then I resort to banning. My secondary role is to help people who ask for help if they are asking for something that is within my ability and knowledge base to help them. I am also an advisor. So, if I cannot help them directly, I try to advise them where to go to get the help that they are asking for. I am not obligated to help, but I do it when I can, If I can, and if I happen to be in a helping mood.

faytree - I disagree! Algobox is going through some turbulent times right now, but I believe that it's not as bad as you suggest that it is, and I also believe that it WILL get better. We (Admins and Algoryx employees) just need to agree on the best path to take to fix the current problems, and then it will be up to Algoryx to supply the time, money, and resources to make it all happen.

For those of you Admin wannabe's, we are not currently increasing the size of our Admin staff, but if some changes down the road take place that will require a few extra Admins to help with the increased workload, then Algoryx will probably ask me to recommend some potential users who I think would make good Admins. That could happen within a few months, or it may not happen for many years.

INH - I agree that this scene is worthless, and the author is probably only hoping to get comments (which he did get, and so in that sense he's pretty clever), but as I've said many times over the past few weeks, Emanuel wants me to allow ALL scenes, no matter how crappy I or anyone else thinks they are, as long as they do not violate the Algodoo Terms of Service (see "Rules" link, above).
