We feel your pain, but I don't understand why you deleted most of your scenes. Why punish everybody for the actions of a few?

If MR/Algodecathlon never started, none of this would've happened. Vaidas would possibly still be around, Cata would still be around, no more flamewars and arguing, algobox users actually becoming more and more complex, everything would have been better without MR/Algodecathlon.

This is some proof as to the fact that we need to fix this. We need to quit giving those people attention. Look at what happend. It's falling apart. We need to either fix this, or find a new similar game, which we can't seem to find.

Strangely it is a bit like earth. it is precious. if we mess up, we wont have it anymore. there is no other earth. but for now, it seems that this is how it is. we must admit to the fact that this is it.

Cata had his reason to go, and i think i might go too. It just does not make sence to stay when your hard work goes to waste by spam, that does not deserve to be on the popular page. They it seems single handedly destroyed algodoo. What a shame.

The Algobox content has kept devolving since 2013, but i know i like to build in the program, and whatever happens to the Algobox won't stop me.

Trust me, This hurts me more as an admin who has been a member of the site and community since like 2008, whom has the ability to start clearing this crap out, but no authority to do anything.

I'd love to clear out all the crap and 5 minute to create uploads, however we've been told that there is effectively no rule against it by a member of Algoryx, which means that any action we take would be going against Algoryx.

Wow. I really wish I hadn't looked at this scene and see what other people say about us behind our backs. Referring to our work as c**p. If your intention was to hurt me, you did the trick.
Please don't call my stuff "spam". When I started algodoo, I worked for hours on a scene, only to have 0 comments or deleted because it wasn't good enough.
I downloaded algodoo because it looked interesting from the perspective of Carykh's videos. I took the position of a marble racer because it seemed exciting.
But since I'm hated by so many people, I will no longer love algodoo as much as I did.

Why don't they copy-paste the algobox scripts/codes and name it "Marblebox"....?....

@LastChance don't cry, man It's not like they're litterally hating you. But here's the problem: Imagine that:
1: Marble racers are Xbox One users and all the other Algodoo users are PS4 users.
2: Xbox One releases more games than PS4
3: There are more PS4 users than Xbox One users.
4: They share the same game-store.
This is the problem: the smaller Xbox One group has much more games than the bigger Ps4 group. So the game-store of most Algodoo users is filled with stuff they can't use, which starts to gets frustrating after a while.

Probably the main problem is in the game-store or in this case, Algobox. I'm not a developer myself, but I don't see the problem of deviding it in 2 groups.

Here's something to try, go back to like the first 100 pages of scenes uploaded, and then look at the first page. Big difference huh!?

Yeah, it's always a sad day when someone leaves Algobox, but it makes many of us angry when the person leaves because of the mindless actions of some of the other users. Most of the Marble Race and Algicathlon camp scenes are made by children that average in age around 7 to 10 years old. Unfortunately, they are too young to understand what effect they have on other people. The only thing that goes on in their very young brains is, "Algodoo is fun for making stick people and marble races". When a new child logs in to Algobox for the first time, they are overloaded with these very simple, cartoon-like scenes that were created by children like them in about 3 to 5 minutes. There is very little creativity required to make those scenes, and they hardly need to THINK about what they are doing. So, when an adult or teen attempts to reason with them, they have no idea what we are talking about. They think that WE are the bad guys because we do not make those silly, childish cartoons that they so much adore. That's the reason why I still believe that Agobox should be split up into two groups. They can be called Junior members and advanced members, or something like that. If properly implemented, it can work very well. We just need to convince Emanuel (Algoryx employee) of that.

I don't think that you should call them Junior members and advanced members, that might offend people. Also the camps and MR makers do not average from 7 to 10 years, they actually average 10-14. (Big difference, right?)

I don't understand how the scenes posted on a page can make someone leave the program. It's a shame it happens but it can easily be resolved by a web designer. What do people do when they post ''i'm leaving'' scenes, do they remove Algodoo from their computer, never to use it again?
