Six nights at my place would be fun until my wife throws everyone out for making a mess! :lol:
Why do you do this:
scene.my.liveA = 1000.0;
scene.livea = 0;
scene.livea = livea;
livea = scene.my.liveA;

That does not make scense. Did you forget the "my" in scene.livea?

I could fix the code for you if you first explain what the problem is and what you are trying to do.
Thanks
I think the problem is you are confusing Global variables with Local variables. Scene.my.x are global variables, meaning that every entity can read and write that variable. If you want to make a variable in the local scope, so that each marble has its own version of a variable that no other marble can read or write, then create the variable with an underscore character. For example, to declare a local variable, you would write "_variable1 := 3.14" (do not use quotes!) in the text area in the upper left corner of each marble's script menu. If you first select, say, 300 marbles, and then enter the code, all 300 marbles will get their own _variable1 that no other marble has access to. The underscore character ensures that the variable will get saved with the scene. If you do not use the underscore character, the variable will only work ONE TIME, and it will not be saved with the scene!

Hope this helps!

If you guys make a game out it, please don't be too hard on me! he he he he:lol:
You're welcome! :)
danielreynard - First of all, please do not post so many comments each time you think of something else to say! Just post ONE comment to say what you need to say! For example, above you wrote, "why my walker is deleted", and then in the very next comment you wrote, "pls". That is annoying and totally unnecessary!

Concerning your deleted scenes, the reason is because you posted way too many scenes in one day. People were complaining about you flooding Algobox with a lot of scenes, and doing that pushes everyone else's scenes down to the bottom of the page and off the page. Please limit the number of scene that you post each day to FIVE scenes per day.

Thanks
goingcomandox - Lots of people ask (no, BEG) for other people to comment about their scenes, but quite often they do not get any comments. It is better to not ask for comments and just let your scenes speak for themselves. If your scene is very good, and people like it a lot, then they will usually comment on it. But on the other hand, if your scene is very bad (very simple, childish, or non-technical) then people might comment on your scene, but in a negative manner! So, my suggestion to you is, do not beg for comments. If you get comments, then great! But if you do not get comments, then just upload a better scene next time and you might get comments. If you do not get comments, then don't get frustrated or angry. It's just how Algobox works. Sometimes people will comment and sometimes they won't! :)

Ultragamer564 - Could you please be specific? Tell me the exact scene title that he copied the walker from and I will investigate it.

Thanks
Nope, it does not work. It cannot work because there are only four green boxes (bills) in the printer. Since it has only four green boxes, then it does not print "infinite money". It does not matter if you have 0 friction or not. The fact remains that it cannot print more than FOUR bills because that's all there are! (Xray slaps his hands hard against his forehead in frustration, and then mumbles to himself while shaking his head, "What is wrong with young kids today that they seem to have so much trouble understanding simple concepts?")
Holy cow! swe man exceeded the SPEED OF LIGHT! :o
A guy enters a bank and robs it at gunpoint. He then shoots the bank manager because the manager rang the alarm. The bad guy gets away with thousands of dollars. Later, after he is captured by Police, he says to them, "please don't fuss".

This current situation is especially complicated because brann1 copied the stickmen from Kyle3912, and Kyle3912 copied them from manu1!

As I said many times before, and in many different places, it's not about "giving credit". It's about ASKING PERMISSION, which is what you are supposed to do. If you cannot contact the person who originally made the material that you want to copy, then you are taking a chance by using it in your posted scene. If they complain about it later, you must do the right thing by removing it.

SA - The timer is SUPPOSED to stop each time the mass passes by the white arrow! That's what stops the timer when you slow down the mass and then stop it with the left arrow key. It actually helps rather than hurts your score!

EDIT - I will work on something a little different that might make the timer more accurate. If I come up with something, I'll edit the scene and post a comments as to what I did.

Thanks!

The Linkage - Thanks! I was going to tell him basically the same thing, but you beat me to it. :tup:
Cahir2015 - Please be specific. Explain what you mean by "The game is broken". :rolleyes:
mm122 - I sent you a warning message. Didn't you receive it? Anyhow if you did not receive it for some reason, I'll tell you here why I deleted your comment. We do not allow profanity in comments or in scenes. You used an abbreviation of a profane rhetorical question which is like "What the heck!" (wth). Obviously, I cannot repeat here what you said because then I would be violating the Algodoo Terms of Service! So, please do not use any more profane abbreviations because they are the same as posting the spelled out version of the profane words.

Do you understand this?
SuperHeroAhmad - I already explained about that in many different places, in scenes, and in comments, and especially in THIS SCENE! If you had read and understood any of them, then you would not be asking that question. <_<

I thought orange was eliminated!

Oh crud..... I'm on the wrong scene too! :bonk:

Yeah, I could mod the code to help me cheat too, but the most efficient way to cheat is just use the drag tool! :y
Hey Rivet - Welcome back to Algobox! I hope you'll stick around and make more great scenes! :tup:
I see. I too was wondering what the best possible score is, assuming that the thrust was engaged on each back-swing during the optimal time along the pendulum's trajectory. But then I was thinking about differences in computers, and how much influence on the timer that those differences might have. I used system.time rather than sim.time because system.time does not vary due to scene lag and other software influences. But what about other unknown issues? If we were to run your test code on, say ten, different computers, would the results be the same?:s
mm122 - Okay, Thanks! :tup:
Darn! All the good people are leaving Algobox. :( You've made many of the best cars, trucks, planes, and a ton of other motorized vehicles. I will miss your excellent, well-made scenes. So, hopefully you'll stop by now and then to take a break from whatever new adventure you will embark upon and make a scene or two. :)

If it were totally up to me, there wouldn't be any spam scenes or "junk" scenes, but my hands are tied by Algoryx. They own Algodoo and Algobox, and so they make the rules, and it's my job as Admin to enforce them. It's also my job to allow things that I do not agree with, but hopefully things will get better in time.

Take care, vaidas369! :tup:
They are "handcuffs".
MLMoyman33 - You have no authority to ban anyone. So don't start pretending like you are an Admin because then YOU will risk getting banned by me, and I am a real Admin!

Thanks
danielreynard - Yes, it is Okay to upload a text message scene now. I used to not allow it, but Emanuel at Algoryx wants me to allow it, and he makes the rules. Just make sure that what you write in your message does not violate the rules (the Algodoo Terms of Service). If it does, then I will have to delete the scene.

Thanks!
Don't worry, jcharlesk. You won't be seeing theracer5000 any longer because he was banned for using profanity.
Holy cow! This is beautiful work! :tup: _o_ :tup:

Oh, BTW - As Admin, I am supposed to warn people about registering multiple user accounts. We do not allow more than user account per person. So, I suggest that you upload this awesome scene through your original user account because I will have to ban this one. Sorry man! (nothing personal)

If that stickman happened to have another arm, equaling two arms, two legs, and one, um.... er..... you know, then I would be concerned about it. But as it stands, I believe it is Okay to leave as is.

Thanks for pointing it out guys! You do help me a lot because I cannot always see everything that should not be posted, so, your extra eyes are very helpful!

:tup:
Cahir2015 - I deleted your comment because it was not necessary to tell people to read my comment, and you also made a remark about faytree's scene which was also not necessary.

Thanks for understanding.
Uh oh! You'd better hide, RosenscOooo. I think great ships wants to do something to you! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Wow! This is one of the best tutorials I've seen here on Algobox. The instructions are complete and understandable, and the pictorials are very well made. Excellent work! :tup:
