There's a problem. Sometimes when I switch a bit from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0, the corresponding logic mechanism falls apart, and then the whole adder becomes chaotic. Things need to be made more robust and reliable. If it weren't for that, this scene would be awesome!
Comparisons help people to understand certain concepts that they may otherwise not understand. That's a good way for children to learn new things.
I clicked on your user name and up popped 52 scenes. I don't know how many scenes you actually posted here on Algobox, but if 52 is correct then you did not lose any of them!

Why do you believe that you lost all of your scenes?
Hello? RealMarbleJK? Are you there? No one can help you if you do not reply to people (like me) making comments to try to help you!:huh:
I don't fully understand what you did here, FRA32, but it looks impressive and therefore I gave it a solid 10. :tup:
Here's another interesting anomaly that I discovered a couple of years ago: Backward Laser
I'm familiar with recursive programming. And your explanation of the Feigenbaum diagram sure helped me to understand the math. I recall other math algorithms that seem to be linear for a while and then all of a sudden they break into chaos when certain limits are reached. I guess this has similar behavior. Very interesting, indeed! :tup:
Good, glad you got your scenes back. You might as well delete this scene since you don't need it any longer. If you cannot delete it for some reason, just let me know in a comment here and I will delete it for you. If you want to keep it posted for some reason, just let me know that too, and I won't delete it.
Yes, SA, I watched the slo-mo videos. They are AWESOME! I have a small collection of handguns and rifles, and I enjoy shooting them very much. It's a wonderful sport! :tup:
No, regardless of the impression I make, I am NOT Illuminati! :lol:

Thank you all for your comments (both the sensible and the non-sensible). ;)
faytree - You could just not enter those values, and Algodoo would automatically enter default values for you. It's the same for addBox, addCircle, addPen, and add(whatever). Only enter the values that you need, and let Algodoo assign all the others!

Just a little hint for you in case you did not know that. :)
Illiteracy is rampant throughout the world. :o
Interesting scene, and nicely done. :tup:
@PinkStick -- Your other account, FNaF_4_Gamer, was banned because we do not allow more than one user account per person.
Theacersfan145 -- You do not report people for making negative comments. People make negative comments every day, and if they all got reported, I would be so busy investigating all of those reports that I would not be able to get any sleep! :o

Please only report scenes or people's comments that are in violation of the Algodoo Terms of Service (that is what you read and agreed to when you registered). In a nutshell, you should report when people use profanity (naughty words) or if they threaten you with bodily harm or death. Other things that are reportable are when people try to buy or sell stuff on Algobox.

Just because someone says something that you do not like or you do not agree to is not reason enough to Report them. Just ask them not to say those things if they really bother you. Or, you can just ignore them, which is usually the best thing to do.

Thanks,

Xray, Algodoo Admin
@SA - I've seen that video many years ago. The trick was amazing to me the first time I saw it, but now that I know how it works, it's really kind of boring! :lol:

@Aaron8205 - Did you focus on a letter pair that the answer to your math calculation told you to focus on? You cannot simply focus on ANY entry in the table. It must be the one that your math calculation pointed you to!

Anyhow, if Algodoo gave you the letter pair SC, it's because sub-consciously you were thinking about SC even though you may think that you were focused on some other letter pair!:lol:

faytree -- I have to correct myself about what I said about how the different properties work when objects get spawned. When you enter properties like you did:
color := color;
radius := radius;
density := density;

The color, radius, and density of the spawned circles will be the same as those properties in the parent circle. That's why all of the child circles in this scene are black! If you delete those properties in the script that spawns the circles, then Thyme will give those properties either default values or random values. For example, when I deleted the "color" attribute in all three scripts for the spawned circles, the resulting colors were various shades of tan. I have no idea why there were not random colors of red, green, and blue. Does anyone else know why?:huh:

Some people were expecting a SCARY FACE to appear. :o
Oh, that's right! I forgot about the palette. Thanks!
Hey Boyguybrodude... Good job! :tup:
PinkStick - How I would know WHAT? :s
@DontTellHarry1701 -- Are you on drugs? :huh:
You only THINK you were focusing on WR, but sub-consciously you were focusing on LV. Nice try.
You did an excellent job on the scene overall. It looks good, and is nicely laid out. The only problem that I ran into is, those gray input switches are not very durable. What I mean by that is, if I happen to drag them a little too hard then the scene tends to fall apart. The gray switch that I pull might pop out of place and bump into another switch, and then the mechanism starts to go nuts. I don't know if other people are having similar problems, but if they are, then it might be an easy fix to tighten things up a little.

Here's a little hint for ya..... Whenever I make a scene that requires user interaction with the drag tool, I always add the following script in any "update" property of any object that will always stay in the scene (not get deleted), such as a plane: app.gui.playmode = sim.running. What that does is, it prevents the "Move" tool from being selected which would destroy the scene if someone were to accidentally try to grab things with the Move tool instead of with the Drag tool.

Again, nice job! :tup:
The Linkage - What usual tracer erasing issue are you referring to? I may have solved it if it's the issue that you cannot erase a tracer trace via script. It can only be done manually (until now!).
s_noonan - Thanks very much!

Concerning "more permanent letters", I don't know of any way that tracer traces can be made permanent. The scene that you referred to uses strings of rectangular boxes to form the lines, and that is totally different from my scene which uses only tracers to form lines. My premise for this scene is that it creates letters using tracers, and the fact that the resulting letters cannot be saved was known but was not a concern of mine. I just wanted to post something on Algobox that has never been done before (as far as I know).

Nope, no more permanent letters. I've had enough of those tenacious little devils. I prefer spirit letters that slowly vaporize into la-la land.

Alp Doganer - You can select a different table by clicking on "Click here to select a random table". There are four different tables, and so you should see a different result than just "LV". The timer is there just to allow some time for the sensors in your computer to read your brain signals.
I live in a state of confusion.
