Score: 892.4 (5 trial average)
CPU: Intel Celeron 900 @ 2.2 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
(I'm on a laptop)
When I start Algodoo immediately after launching the program, my score is around 1390 (average). If I undo, and then restart Algodoo, then the score is a little lower: 1226. I've noticed over the years playing Algodoo that the program seems to run slower the longer it stays active. But then when I shut it down and launch it again, it somehow gets a boost and runs faster.

So, how does my score (1390) compare to others?
Before i press play,i make sure that everything is closed except Algodoo.
Score:about 1124-1129

RAM: 8GB

I noticed the first time you run the scene water is normal, but then after restarting the scene and running it the water becomes bouncy creating more collisions and making the scene run slower.

And Xray, algodoo is prone to eating memory and once you near the ~1GB limit it slowly halts

Is that good?

GPU: ATI Radeon 2400 PRO 128MB DDR2 @400MHz

Thanks for testing! I see that water gets bouncy after the first test, but it's not a big deal since the score doesn't change so much. Just take the last tests as the important ones

icrls984: You need a new processor there. Algodoo runs best on dual-cores
Xray: maybe your videocard doesn't handle the particles well(I tkink you said somewhere that you had a good CPU). But your score is quite good anyways
faytree: That's hell of a score for an 8 year-old computer. Dual-cores win here. You won't need any upgrade, but I'd buy 2 gigs more of RAM
homieeee: Whoa
epicface129: That is good. The CPU is good despite being pentium.

What I can see here is mostly that dual-cores and CPUs with hyperthreading (use much cores like one) work best. But if you enter in the console Threading.numThreads = x (being x the number of cores on your system, if there's more than one) may increase speed if your video card is good enough. I'm having a bottleneck on my computer (too big processor for the integrated card). Watch out for this if you're going to upgrade any part soon!

Intel Core2 Quad 2.8
GeForce GTX 650 Ti
1188

AMD HD5450
Intel E5500

Guess it could be a whole lot worse!

Max memory limit is actually 2GB for a 32 bit application. And, like most applications, algodoo will run slower when it's left open for a while than when it's first open. I mainly attribute this to garbage memory collection, which in all honesty sucks in most games!

Intel(R) Core(TM) I5-3317U CPU @ 1.70GHz 1.70Ghz

I like this scene:)
Edit: i reset the config and got a better score

higher is better im guessing
