Scene tag

This is the first level in my new Portals series.

There is one function whose code is very reminiscent of Kilinich- it spawns a circle with an alternating collider mounted on it.

This scene should work in Phun. If not, that's your problem.

Credit to TC42 for the very handy method of using scene.my.functions in such a way that you can actually edit them- put them in onCollide. OnCollide is a function itself, so you can replace it with any other function you like. This is called upon onCollide when the scene starts, and instantaneously put into scene.my.

My portals are connected to like-colored portals and spawn the circle with the same speed and angular velocity, but with a direction relative to the different orientations of the entering and exiting portals, as well as the direction the circle entered with.

I won't explain any further. Download the scene and see for yourself.

This scene was inspired by TC42, more specifically, the scene this is a response to.

EDIT: Credit goes to crytek for the switches. Somehow, I forgot to mention that.

Cool. Am I the only one who finds it obvious that the hidden switch is right below the word "hidden"?
Needs a bit of cosmetic work, but this could be pretty epic...
There is more to this post than meets the eye...
Such as undetectable invisi-text--the post box is conveniently white. So now I can write things and unobservant people will never know. Anyway, good scene, SE, and I like how you put the technology to use.

Thank you. I might be able to fix some of that, but I don't think so.

The first thing I tried to do in 1.9.7 was to make Portals: Level 002.

However, when I tried to save it, it seems that Algodoo spazzed out and simply wouldn't save.

Thus, Algodoo lost all my progress. Fortunately, there was not very much of it.

However, I may try to re-build it. Sometime.

I am currently trying to add radio buttons and checkboxes to Kilinich's menu phunlet.
It seems to be working fairly well, though I have not gotten particularly far yet.

Hmm, Algodoo is not letting me save my scene
(referring to Portals: Level 002). This is really weird...

And I put so much time into it too...

Okay, I tried saving it as "Portals: Level 002", and it didn't work, so I replaced the colon and spaces with underscores. Then it saved.

One new sequel coming right up...

Pretty awesome! I liked how you used my buttons from Lazer Ball. Next time can u give me credit?
Thanks.

Sure. Somehow, I forgot about that.
