For anyone wondering about the star trek pinball:
Progress is going great, everything is working all good, still getting in more features and play testing, and finishing the graphics as well. I don't want to post any scenes of my progress because I want the end result to be a surprise, but even in its current state, I think it would be the best pinball experience in algodoo. The teaser is nothing compared to what will come out. This is a small part of it.
Your script to generate circles is unnecessarily complex. You only need to define specific requirements about the circle such as radius, color, pos, and a few other things. Here is an example that works:
Scene.addCircle({
texture := "1976-25c-o-circ.jpeg";
textureMatrix := [1.4813498, 1.3338135, 0.50000763, -1.3338135, 1.4813498, 0.49998811, 0.0, 0.0, 0.99999988];
area := 0.049454987;
color := [1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0];
pos := e.this.pos;
density := 2.0;
colorHSVA := [8.4404154, 0.0, 1.0, 1.0];
radius := 0.24851623;
angle := -0.78539819
})
Everything else will be generated by Algodoo with default values. It's especially important to not specify entityID or geomID. Just let Algodoo assign those numbers.

Interesting scene! :tup:

i was demonstrating that you could paste what is copied when you copy an object, and it applies to all shapes including complex polygons that you can only copy from, I was going to use my more complicated shaped quarter but settled on a circle for this demo because the surfaces section was massive, took up like half of the script lines since it came from a fine gear. this was meant as a beginner script and was mad to answer a question in the algodoo reddit. Thank you though
You are very welcome!
