i played around with it, try changing the restitution, density, just not to extreme values (restitution max at 2) and lower the killer bar a bit, worked for me
So, it does function. Magazine guide would be simple, like I have stated in the desc, I just added a quick model, the actual mechanism can be easily modified to "guide" the magazine in. As a matter of fact I put the green parts on top as a way to combat this without disrupting the look of the weapon.
The gun breaking is due to the user. The scene instructions clearly state to put it in gently.
Either way, does it deserves a 1? I could understand if it looked useless and no matter what wouldn't function. But that's not the case.
I think you should be clearer in your idea of "broken", as oppose to "fragile".
(To satisfy your needs, I will edit this scene and add in a magazine guide. May even redo the clip.)
EDIT: Sorry for the essay, I can understand the constructive criticism however your previous comments come across as spiteful.
A couple things to improve on:
- Use a spring to push the bullets down, rather than relying on gravity
- Maybe put the magazine where it normally goes (?)
Nice scene, might want to stop it from falling out when you aim though.
On another note, I saw you uploaded a lot of scenes all of the same thing but slightly edited. Not too sure if you're aware but pressing edit when on your own scene will let you reupload another version, and you can also change the name.
The missiles are just an "oncollide" from Raydegs napalm scene, which is a great scene and phunlet friendly!
Probably going to look into how he calls for the missile to drop, and work on creating "laser" guided missiles using the pod on the front, very much a WIP.
I won't spoil too much, but to trigger the "10" you'd want to press 1 and 0 at the same time. To do this, put a laser in your scene, and copy it into notepad [cntrl c + cntrl v].
You'll see some coding, at the bottom add in a new line, not forgetting the ";" and type in -activationButton := "1 0"- without the -'s. Select all, copy it, and paste it back into your scene and now when you press 1 and 0 the laser should turn on :]
Most of the bugs revolved around the plunger, which I actually think is due to the collision of a polygon rather than a square/rectangle/circle. I read somewhere that polygons are worse when it comes to collision.
You could use attraction to launch the ball? Would work more reliably with power too, maybe.
The density's at 1000 to make the engine spin faster, if you need to put this in a car, just make sure to adjust springs and the density of the wheels, to make up for it. Take a look at my buggy scene if you don't understand Thanks for commenting
