i decided not to put warheads to reduce lag. I'm going to make 3-missile version with warheads.
sorry, but phun version of this is probably impossible (at least for me), because of inaccuracy and lack of precision of collisions compared to lasers.

Great job. Yet another script I cannot understand :lol: . And yeah, it turns in very weird way.
I know that it's partially educational site, but posting some random organic chemistry substances doesn't make much sense for me.
I have interesting guidance idea, and i'm working on it:
I use k-probe to get velocity,position and accel of missile.
laser radar (like in my torpedo) finds target and reads it's position and velocity.
missile calculates when it's x pos will be equal to target x pos, saves result as TimeX.
then calculates the same for y, saves as TimeY.
then compares those 2 values, and appropriately goes more vertical or more horizontal.
no, they won't be the same. if missile moves horizontally, it'l soon reach target x position, but will need way more time to reach target's height. so it'll try to go more vertical etc.
The same timex and timey (missile and target in the same pos, in the same time) is what the missile is trying to reach..
Good. but I don't like the smoke effect:P Try to make smoke that actually goes upwards, and is transparent. Still 9/10

I always use negative airfriction in shrapnel etc so it eventually disappears, reducing lag.

Bardzo ciekawy pomysł.
W praktyce nie bedzie niestety działał.
Phun symuluje wszystko 100x na sekundę, dość dużo do większości zastosowań, lecz tutaj zawodzi - siła wytwarzana przez silnik pochodzi z niedokładności symulacji. (i dlatego jest tym większa im szybciej sie kreci). Tez zrobilem kiedys cos podobnego (tyle ze z tlokami jak w silniku spalinowym):)

I don't know why, but i have about 50% realtime despite having 1.5GHz, 1024mb ram.:unsure:
seems that mechanism is unstable. Sometimes it blows up, but usually it's able of shooting over 20-30 times for me:|

Yep it uses attraction. Barely forms itself without it too, but then shatters in flight. :/

I'm trying to make cannon that can aim, while ammo clip remains stationary in a vehicle, but it's really hard :/
My new tank uses similliar ammo. Does it count as more interesting? ;)
No,they are not. But bullet so fast that it doesn't collide with anything but plane is impractical.
I think that using over one metre long armor piercing rounds against helpless ragdolls is a bit sadistic
