Since you modified this scene nothing seems to work any more. What are the control keys and what is the player character? Also, how is the game played and what must a player do to win?
I had no idea what SSPRA was and so I Goodled it: "Sensitive Species Project Review Areas or SSPRA is a digital map data layer which primarily represents the general locations of documented rare, threatened and endangered species."
BTW - It's not a game and it's not about how many hits you can get in one cycle. It's totally random. Some cycles you'll get zero hits and some cycles you'll get quite a few hits. That's the nature of probability, and that's the nature of our entire reality (but that's a different subject).
1. Do not run the simulation yet.
2. Using the MOVE tool, move the red circle directly under the girl's feet, and position it about 1 to 2 circle diameters below her feet (the circle should be inside the green plane).
3. Zoom out so that the girl is a lot smaller and adjust the scene so that the girl and the circle can be viewed but locate them near the lower portion of your screen.
4. Start the simulation and watch what happens! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
If I remove the tires the car would ride on its rims which is very bad. And that would certainly mess up the alignment. My vehicle is an older Chevy pickup truck with 4 wheel drive. It rides Nicely but it gets poor fuel economy. Only about 12 miles per gallon on the highway. I would love to buy an electric car but they are too expensive.
I see that you added a comment in your scene description that reads: "at some point this may become select fire".
From my experience here on Algobox, which is over ten years, I have seen many attempts by people trying to make full auto, select fire rifles. Believe me when I say that many of the designs are barely functional, difficult to load, and jam constantly. It's a major challenge and I hope you can do it. I'm looking forward to shooting it when you have completed it!
Tech question: When measuring three teeth at a time, doesn't that cause the infamous problem of accumulating tolerances over the entire length of the rack?
Sure, but when you mention vehicle alignment to anyone over the age of 16 (aka, licensed drivers), they understand that it has to do with the proper alignment of the vehicle's suspension and steering mechanisms. That's what I was thinking when I saw the title of your scene. But I guess that means something totally different according to what I read in it, and also your comments. Sorry if I misunderstood it, and I hope my comments didn't cause too much confusion.
I have a couple of suggestions:
1. Disable the Algodoo clouds because they ruin the effect when the sky becomes nighttime.
2. For people who are in a hurry to see the changes, they can increase the Simulation Speed. It's that slider that shows just above the Run/Pause button.
