Then I suggest that you ask someone to help you who knows how to use an Internet browser. Once you start using a regular browser to upload and download scenes, you will find it to be much easier and much more useful than the Algodoo browser.
It's cool that you posted a computer scene, but without instructions how to use it, I doubt that anyone will be able to figure out what to do with it! At the very least show some examples of how to enter a program, how to run a program, how to edit an existing program, and what are its input and output ports (if it has any)? etc, etc, etc....
Well, Algobox is loaded (no pun intended) with thousands of scenes about guns and ammo, and so I don't understand how that could be why some don't like your scene. It might simply be that your scene is a mono-color drawing. Maybe it's not colorful enough for some people!
I tried running both of your sample programs ("Counter" and "Fibonnacci Counter") and each produces random results. The Counter program freezes after displaying a string of 1's, and the Fib Counter keeps displaying nonsensical values. I think I was loading the programs correctly, so I don't know what else could be causing the weird results.
@Fairy tail fan -- Why do you think only Russians understand what a manual water pump is and how it works? I'm fairly certain that every person in the entire world knows what that is!
Here are a few suggestions for everyone who posts scenes on Algobox, especially if they utilize complex Thyme Script. These are things that I practice myself:
1. After uploading a scene, never presume that it works correctly under every condition. Download the scene that you just uploaded, then run it and test the heck out of it! Test it under every condition that other users will likely test it under. If it has bugs, then fix them.
2. Don't presume that everyone understands how to use the scene and knows all of the control keys. PROVIDE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS. People cannot read your mind (really!). You have to explain everything in print.
3. If your scene is similar to an older scene of yours, do not tell people, "This xyz device works exactly like my previous xyz device" and fail to provide instructions. If you have to copy instructions from an older scene, then do it! Don't be lazy.
4. If your scene is extremely laggy, don't just leave it that way. FIX IT. If your scene is laggy and/or it locks up Algodoo and you cannot fix it, then please do not upload it. No one likes to play a laggy or erratic scene.
If you want to add something really creepy, give the monster head a scary monster head texture. I tried to do that with a scary clown face who has very long and sharp teeth. Real creepy for sure!
I've used mainframe industrial computers before home computers were available for the general public. So, yeah, that was a long time ago!
The first operating system that I used with a home computer was DOS 3.1. That was a text-based operating system that was used before Windows came out. I think it was back in the early 1980's. (Yup, I'm old! LOL)
I'm pretty certain the Moon doesn't have any snow on it because snow (or water) cannot exist for very long in a hard vacuum. But if there is a snowmobile on the Moon, I'm sure America was the FIRST country to put one there!
And if you happen to see a Tesla car on the Moon, it was put there by Elon Musk.
As you said: "Facts, man. Facts." I'm pretty sure all snowmobiles operate with a standard internal combustion engine which would not operate without an oxygen atmosphere. And even if it could operate on the Moon (say, with an electric motor) it would probably overheat because of no air to cool the motor.
I began using Algodoo back in 2012, and I can positively say that there always have been people who don't like a particular subject (such as Marble Races, Algo whatever thons, BFDI, NumberBlocks, Guns, Blood scenes, and the list goes on). My point is, there will always be someone complaining about a particular subject they don't like. That's what makes us human. As long as a scene doesn't violate any of the Rules, it will be allowed to remain on active display in the archive, and users need to respect each other's choice of subject matter. If you don't like or agree with a particular scene or a particular subject, you are under no obligation to download the scene. Just ignore it!
I followed your instructions and found one minor error in it. Paragraph 10: Says, "...select the file named "Sound-From-Algodoo". Actually the filename is: "Audio-From-Algodoo". Other than that, it did work. I heard that raspy-sounding tone!
H = Hue (the actual color shade value (0 ~ 360))
S = Saturation (The strength of the color value (0 ~ 1.0))
V = Value (The overall brightness value (0 ~ 1.0))
A = Alpha (The transparency value (0 ~ 1.0))
