1) Just add a texture to it. Problem solved!
I meant that you can replace the cloud-background by *hacking* phun and replacing the cloud pictures with other images. I also have a tutorial on the forums.
Is that the same gradient texture I used in my animation tech-demo?
Gradient textures are awesome. And Dare is completely correct; textures usually save resources and look better.

Only thing that you need to work on is lag and download speed; 5mb is quite a bit for a non-functional scene...
Also, make sure that the engine is toggle-able; that's how it was in the original; they toggled the engine to "slow it down", if I remember correctly...
I can't wait for the final version!
Actually, the real reason may be 1) simulation of heat added through compression or 2) On a collision, algodoo changes the velocity for an object, and sends it off at an angle. In this case, the exact opposite angle. So when it senses a collision with the top brick, it computes that collision, and hurls the circle downward as a result; the circle then hits the plane, so algodoo computes that collision and sends the circle back upward again, hence all the vibration. The collision detection and collision computation would have to be extremely fast to avoid this.
That's just my guess/theory, but it doesn't explain why increasing the density solves this issue.
Not a bad first, however...
>When was the last time you saw a car crash where the car just flew apart into squares?
>Texture needs contrast (turn up the shadows)
>Try setting the breaking hinges to 0 motor torque, +inf motor power-- it will simulate bending if you execute it well enough
No-one will help you steal from the creators of this website, and someone should report this. Sheesh, Algodoo is even half off, so it's cheaper than usual. Everyone makes scenes in algodoo because it is far superior in physics and ease of use. Get over it. the switch to algodoo was old news even in 2009.
