jackh06 -- Why are you so worried that I might take down your scene? What rule did you break? You did read the rules, right?
Z23prod -- Ask Oprah Winfrey. She knows everything.
42flowermaster: "But it's still a calculator, Right?"

Well, it does seem to calculate something, and so technically I guess you can call it a calculator.

Anyhow, all kidding aside, I think that you have the beginnings of a graphing calculator in this scene, but there are a LOT of complexities that would need to be engineered into it in order for it to be even somewhat useful. True, this is Algodoo, and because of that, we are here to have fun, and not to design real-world products, right? So, screw the details, and let's just continue to have fun!

I don't know what a "full tour vore game" is, but it doesn't seem to violate any of the Algodoo rules. So, there is no need to include things like "Xray will probably take my scene down". If a scene violates any of the rules, then yes, I will delete it. If it doesn't, then I won't delete it. Okay? You can stop your worrying now.
42flowermaster wrote: "Do you know how to make this [scene] a bit better or more interesting?"

Answer: Well, it depends on what your intentions are for the scene. If you intend for it to be a real keyboard tester, then it must be accurate and bug free. Also, it would be helpful to have pop-up windows show when the tester detects an error. The window could say something like: "Oops! The current key failed the test" or "The wrong key was pressed", etc. Of course in order for error detection like that to work, it needs to have a prescribed series of key-presses, such as letters A through Z in sequence.

Keep in mind that most users here on Algobox are children, and all they are interested in are Algocathlon camps, and colorful stick people posing as athletes. Those kids have no interest in a keyboard tester, but if you could convert this scene into a game of some sort, then they would likely want to play it.

Hope this helps...

The control keys don't seem to work at all.
PTY78 -- Can you prove that this scene was copied from another user? Also, are you sure that bfb8ball did not have permission to copy this scene from the original user? Also, can you prove that this scene was created by the previous user, and that the previous user did not steal it from someone else? Do you understand what I am telling you? Scenes here on Algobox often get copied and mish-mashed in with other scenes so that it's usually impossible to prove what scene belongs to what user. Unless you have absolute proof (which is nearly impossible) that this scene was created by a particular user, then don't be attacking people because you THINK a particular scene might have been copied and uploaded.

Thanks,

Xray, Algodoo Admin

Ummmm.... Just curious, who did you copy the Thyme script from? This scene has a lot of overly complex scripting in it which is totally unnecessary just to make a simple rectangle move. That move could be done in just one or two lines of code!
Wow, you are very creative! :) At first I thought that you might have posted an early April Fool joke or something, because you were asking what people thought about your very simple (actually silly simple) animation. But now I see that you have something more interesting than just watching a moving rectangle. LOL

I'm looking forward to the final product, which I'm sure will be quite interesting and entertaining.

Hi -- I was interested in seeing what script you wrote for the suspension, but I was not able to find any. Where is the scripting located that you mentioned in the scene description?
Nicely done! This must have taken you a long time to figure out all of the motions of those circles.

Now it would be really challenging for you to make the cube rotate in 3D around the sphere. ;)
Yes, I see that.

It's a step in the right direction.
By the way, have you looked at my scenes yet? Just click on my user name, and you will see that I have posted about a zillion (well, maybe not a zillion) scenes since about 2012. Nearly all of them are scripted, and some took me a long long time (like my version of the Nazi Enigma code machine). If/when you check out some of my scenes, please let me know if there are any ones that you especially like. Thanks....
That goose reminds me of Curly Howard.
Q: "decade resistor selector switch", and how did you do that?
A: Not sure how to answer your question because it is ambiguous. Please be more specific.

Q: How to edit comments?
A: You cannot edit comments if you use the Algodoo built-in browser. But if you use any regular browser like I.E., Chrome, or Fire Fox, then look at the top right area of the comment you want to edit, and you will see what looks like a yellow pencil and a blue sheet of paper. Simply click on that, and then you will be able to edit your comment.

The Algodoo Forum uses a totally different login system even though it is on the same web site as Algobox. Therefore, you need to register a new name and password if you want to post something in the Forum. You could use the same user name and password as you use for Algobox, but it would require that you register as if it were a new account.

Hope you are not so confused now!
Wow, nice job! I knew you could do it, but I was surprised that you did it with springs. I might use some of your thyme script in my own scene if you don't mind. Please let me know if you are Okay with that, and of course I will give you credit.
WOW! This is really cool! When I first saw the scene, I was thinking, "This harvester probably just runs back and forth but doesn't do anything else". I was surprised and amazed when I saw that the harvester mechanism actually works to separate the corn from the stems, and places them in the proper receptacles. Nice job!
This is a tuna sandwich.
tensiro -- The scenes that you make are just fine. I have no problem at all with them. There were a couple of announcement scenes that you posted some time ago which I deleted, but except for those, your scenes do not violate the rules, and you have noting to worry about.

When you say you changed your company name, I don't understand what you mean by that. Your Algobox user name is tensiro, and that is the only name you should be concerned with. If you go by some other name on some other web site, you should not use that name here on Algobox because you are not here to promote your company. You are here to promote Algodoo and the things that you can make with it! So go ahead and keep making awesome cars or other cool things! Those are the things that people care about. They do not care that you changed your company name.

You have a good day too! :)
Very nice job!

One suggestion: The user must hold down the up-arrow key for thrust, which make activating the other keys kind of awkward. I suggest that you check the "toggle" checkbox for the activation key in the lasers. That way you press and release the up-arrow key for continuous thrust, and you can stop the thrust by again pressing the up-arrow key. That leaves your fingers free to do other things while the rocket is accelerating.

:)
Alas1789 - Please understand that I do not "need" anything at all! This was only a suggestion, and the final decision to do it, and how you do it is totally up to you. The scene will be awesome no matter how you decide to finish it! _o_
:)
Very interesting and surprising physical phenomenon which we see very often during the Summer months when people are watering their lawns with rotary sprinklers.

User s_noonan posted a similar scene which demonstrates the same rotating sprinkler action but he presents it a little differently. Which Way Will The Water Go?
Nicely done scene, overall, but I noticed one issue that you may be concerned about.

When I just tap the left or right keys in order to move the spindle by a small amount, it tends to continue moving quite a ways, and then it sort of slides back in the other direction, sort of like it was sliding around in a bowl of Jello. It seems rather sloppy.

Except for that, you did a great job on the scene as usual.
Little - I no longer spend any time trying to determine what scene belongs to who because so many scenes and parts of scenes on Algobox have been copied and blended in with other scenes. It can be a nightmare for me. For example, you claim that this user copied your batteries, but you may have copied those batteries from someone else! Of course you would say no you didn't copy them, but I am not going to waste my time trying to prove it. So, I suggest that you contact this user like you did in the comment above, but don't be so wishy washy. It sounds like everything is cool with him copying your scene! If you don't like it, then let him know that you don't like it and he should delete the scene if it really bothers you. If he won't delete the scene or if he ignores you, then there is nothing more that you can do about it. In the future, place your user name someone in all of your scenes so that you have proof they are yours. Maybe hide your name in small areas where no one would think to look. Then if someone copies a scene, you could point out the fact that your user name is there, and that it was copied from you. That is still no guarantee that the person will delete the scene, but at least it will prove that it was your scene.
Please don't address me as "BRUH". I'm a lot older than 14. In fact, I am old enough to be your grandfather.

And since you are only 14, you have a LONG way to go before you can be called a mathematician. Well, actually, you can call yourself anything that you desire, but you won't officially get that title until you earn your college degree. You seem quite smart, and so I believe that you will do well later in life as a professional (maybe an Engineer?).

Have Phun!
Okay, then continue practicing until you become proficient at it, and report back later.
This is excellent! Impressive Thyme scripting!
Epic?
