I didn't know you could use video. That scene is pretty cool!
sweet
I need VR shades to play it XD
So... You're no longer admin right...?
not even gonna say anything to you other than this:

Why did you out of nowhere remove Whodunnit, a very popular trend for like 8 months?

Just wondering, it came so suddenly.
wild bill and Hard Hat Beaver - Thanks guys! :)

Uglytopians - No, not right. I am still an Admin, but I no longer spend time watching over the children here on Algobox. wild bill now does that.

SlimeBlobFlynn - You and the other kids need to understand what Algobox was originally intended for. It was intended to share dynamic simulations made with Algodoo. The scenes that get uploaded today, are STATIC scenes. For you kids who do not understand what that means: A static scene does not MOVE. It does not demonstrate any physics at all. People use Algodoo as if it was a Paint or drawing program. And now you kids are using Algobox for telling stories, posting Question and Answer scenes, and guessing each other's favorite color. Those are not what Algobox was originally used for. If we allow children to corrupt it into something that it's not supposed to be, then adults and older teens will not use it, which is exactly what has been happening the past five or so years. So, I hope this answers your question as to why we do not allow "whodonnits" and other such scenes.

all i see is white
Yoop Yoop - Are you using the latest version of Algodoo? Some scenes will not work properly if you are using the old program called "Phun" or even an older version of Algodoo.
wild bill - Concerning video animations with Algodoo, I have uploaded quite a number of scenes which have video animations in them, such as THIS ONE. If you want to see more of them, just click on my user name and check out some of the animated scenes in my archive. Some of them I did back in 2012 when I first started using Algodoo.
@Xray

Do you know how to upload scenes with separate thumbnails?

I tried to upload phz files but it only allows phn files. But then when i upload it, the thumbnail says NO IMAGE FOUND.

It doesn't let me upload a seperate thumbnail. Maybe i'm missing something.
@Stormstar- First off, why did you rate this scene a 1? Did you really think that it's all that horrible? Or did you do it because you believe that I wouldn't know that it was you who did it? Just wondering.
@Xray

I did not rate this scene a 1.

I didn't even rate this!

Why did you accuse me?

If you think i'm lying, i can send you a screenshot
I deleted your rating earlier, and so it would not show up now. It clearly showed your user name "Stormstar-" at the number 1 position. Only Admins can see who rates scenes. Non Admins cannot. Yes, it definitely was YOU.
@Stormstar- No worries. I don't hate you! I deleted your #1 rating because I felt that it was not fair to me, and that you just did it because you thought that you could get away with it without me knowing who did it. Keep in mind that there aren't too many things that people can do without an Admin knowing about it. We have some "power" here on Algobox! :)

Now, getting back to your question, no, I do not know how to upload a separate thumbnail. Check with kilinich. He knows everything about Algodoo and Algobox. You will probably have to contact him via the Personal Messaging system in the Forum.
I don't remember doing that. Are you sure it's not a fake account?

I never rated this scene. If what you said is true, then i might of accidentally clicked the "1" rating during something. I now rated this a 9.

not a 10 because i can easily tell how it worked.

s_noonan - That copy/pasted list you show is FAKE! I know this because I do not have a drinking buddy. In fact, I do not drink alcohol at all. Nice try. :lol:

Oh, and my dog's computer is currently not working. HA!

Dear Xray,
1.I LOVE this scene:) ,what scripts do you need to put a video in Algodoo?
(I wish I knew how to make scenes like these.)

2.Last year, my brother (smallgenius) was banned. We still can't understand why. Just for you to know, me and my brothers share the same computer and he was banned for having more than one account (tell me if i'm wrong). We just can't understand why. Can you kindly tell us the why he got banned? We are not angry,(were actually very happy we found out Algodoo),we just want to clearify it to see what he did wrong. I hope you understand, he likes using Algodoo alot.

Thanks,
LittleGenius88

More Information:me, Lukathlon46/Lukathlon and smallgenius share the same computer.
If I was the owner of this scene, the title would've been "Message to all marble race/algothon/bfdi/etc scene makers". And there wouldn't be water down in the video.:lol:
LittleGenius88 - I did not know that your brother used the same computer as you. Thanks for letting me know about that. He is now UNBANNED!
The Linkage,

I was going to ask Xray if the scene title was a title or a request.
s_noonan - It is neither. It is an imperative sentence.
Per your request, I jumped off a cliff.
Thanks a million Xray!!:)
You made both my and my bros day!
We are so happy!
:) :) :) :)
This is a really accurate simulation!

(Of every non-MR/Algocosathlon person when they started to get popular)

No, but in all seriousness, this is really cool! Never knew you could play videos like this is Algodoo.

Also, as for camps and pretty much any static scene, I support you on that, and i'm trying to make us look better by putting work into my scenes. I spent a little less than 3 days to make a small course themed after Sonic the Hedgehog for a marble race, and i'm suprised no one even cared much about it, lol.
@Ultragamer564 -

"but in all seriousness, this is really cool! Never knew you could play videos like this is Algodoo."

Thanks! Making "good" animated videos with Algodoo actually requires a lot of work, especially if the video is more than a few seconds long. It ends up being a trade-off between length of video and quality of the images. For long videos you cannot have both because the images eat up too much storage space, and therefore the resolution of each image frame must be reduced, which makes the images look grainy. The good news is, the scripts needed to animate a video are rather simple and straightforward (once you learn some basics).

I saw that one. You did a good job on it. It was more popular than you think because, so far, it has been posted for less than two weeks, and it was downloaded more than 350 times. Not too bad!

CORRECTION: The marble race I was referring to was "Ultra Marble Race - Legs 16, 17, and 18 - The Finale!" Sorry for the confusion.

Oh. I thought you were talking about the 2 scenes I had posted lately. I've been working more on thyme skills, and i've been finding out alot of things I thought you could never do before, like create a smooth camera, switch gravity, etc.
