Nice job, wild bill. And welcome back to Algobox!
I stick around for a couple of reasons. 1. I enjoy Algodoo a lot. I especially like the programmable aspect of it. If you were to look back through all of my scenes you would see that they all were done with Thyme scripting. 2. I became an Admin back in 2013, and so I've been babysitting the children here since then. Yes, I must be a masochist, but someone has to do it!

Later.....
The perspective is not correct. If you want to create a 3D cube that looks as it should in nature, then you need to correct its perspective. Oh, you don't know what perspective is? Then GOOGLE it! ;)
Nice job!
Stormstar - Please do not report scenes that supposedly have been copied from another user because there is no positive way to determine who copied who. For example, you claim that this user copied roblobloman, but then I would question who did roblobloman copy? I can make better use of my time by not spending it chasing down the original owner of some silly image of a phone!

From now on, only report serious offenses such as profanity or sexual scenes. Things that children should not be viewing.

Thanks!
I DO know. And I know a lot of things because I am very smart. So, I feel sorry for you, Roviospace. You should have paid attention in school.
BTW - Who is "Dave"? :s
Josh - Well, yes it does change but not for that specific scene. Emanuel, who is the "BOSS" here on Algobox, wanted to make that scene a "Sticky" so that it will stay there in the number one spot for a long time. Take a look at the "Ratings" and the "Times Favored" numbers. They are HUGE (in the millions). By making those numbers very large, the system will keep the scene showing until he decides to remove it. Emanuel is an employee of Algoryx which is the Swiss (OOPS, I meant Swedish) company that owns Algodoo and this website.

I am an Admin, but I am not an employee of Algoryx. I just volunteer my time.

Thanks guys! :)
pipin - I was kidding about detecting your mouse and displaying the correct image. It was just a joke! April Fools!
The glass is VERY THICK! :o

I played "Flirtin' With Disaster" by Molly Hatchet while looking at this. Very relaxing.

Those must be anti-gravity snowflakes because they go UP as well as DOWN! Weird!
s_noonan,

Why did you delete your scene? I don't have a problem with you using the image for your own scenes. After all, I copied the image from Google, and so it wasn't mine to begin with! ;)
MM0501,
Who are you addressing your comment to? And what makes you think that any of us who uses Algobox can edit it? You must be hallucinating, or you simply got some wrong information from someone else.

FYI, Algobox was created by, and is maintained by the Algoryx company. A link to their company website is located way down at the bottom of every Algobox web page.
I suggest that you do a search in the Algobox archives for the word "walker". You will find tons of scenes that implement walkers in many different ways. By downloading and reverse-engineering those scenes, you should be able to figure out how they work, and possibly implement a design for your own walker.
You said: "Restitution is the restoration of something lost or stolen to its proper owner." Really? That's very interesting. I did not know that. Where did you learn that? What happens if I change the Restitution value of an object, say from 0.5 to 10.0? Will that make the object find any lost or stolen items in the scene? :s
Well, I'll leave that up to you. But if you do not want to teach people bad information, then, yes, you should delete it or correct it.

(I'm sure that you know I was just kidding with you in my first comment. What you said about Restitution was so silly that I could not keep myself from making fun of it. Sorry.)
I remember a toy from the 1950's called Click-Clack Blocks which had a similar motion to the object in this scene.
sad.... :(
Jacob's Ladder? The only Jacob's Ladder that I'm familiar with (besides the one in the Bible) is the one that uses HIGH VOLTAGE!

But I recently discovered that the Click Clack Blocks I remember from my childhood are also called Jacob's Ladder
NM0501 - Because that's just the way I am. If you like it, GREAT! If you do not like it, then I give you lots of raspberries and spit. :yum:
WOW! Very impressive 3D effect! Nice job!

I rated this scene a 10.
@TheTWOWTeam -- rcdragon's comment is not bullying. He is just expressing how he feels about the type of simple "cartoon" scene that you posted. If I were to consider his comment as Bullying, then I would have to delete over a thousand other similar comments from other users, but of course I am not going to do that.

If you don't like any user's comments, you have a choice to simply ignore it or respond to it with your own comment. For example, you can tell the other person that you do not like or appreciate his or her comments, and you can ask that he or she do not post any more comments like the one you do not like. The only comments that I will delete are ones that clearly violate the rules such as if someone posts profanity (dirty words) or they post a scene or comments which includes sexual content. I will also delete a scene or comments that threatens another person with bodily harm or very serious threats to your health and safety. That kind of posts we do not allow at all.

Thanks,
Xray, Algodoo Admin
I agree!
Excellent job! _o_

Definitely worthy of a TEN rating! :)

There is one additional effect which I accidentally discovered. That is, when I clicked on the image of the tree, the image gets selected, as usual, and the perimeter of the tree gets highlighted with a bright white light, which looks really cool! :)

Nice job on the scene. I suggest maybe adding some additional lights that are colored, and that produce other animated lighting patterns.

s_noonan,

Great! Next year is only a week away!
You still do not explain WHAT thing in the game is the player! I mean WHAT item represents ME, the person moving through the game? I do not know what to grab with the move tool. Is it a yellow circle? A green box? You assume that people know what to move, but we cannot read your mind. You must explain exactly what thing represents the player. And what are the guards? There is nothing in the scene that looks like a bank guard, and so how are we supposed to know if there's a guard in the room if we don't know what a guard looks like?

I think you are finding out that making a game is a lot more difficult that you thought it would be. There is a lot to consider!
zaff_von_stein,

Do you think you are special? Are you better or more important than any other users? No one else may have multiple accounts, so why do you think I would give you special permission to have multiple accounts?

Well, I'm sure you guessed by now that the answer is NO. And the subject is not open to discussion. There are good reasons for the rules, and the rules would be useless if we made exceptions for certain people.
2 hours?:o Wow, that was quick! Many of my scenes took at least a couple of weeks to make. ;)
