Hey.... Here's my take on this subject (for what it's worth). I occasionally post scenes here on Algobox. I may go many months without posting a scene, but I rarely post more than one scene per month. And that's often because each of my scenes are somewhat complex games that require a LOT of Thyme programming. Anyhow, I truly don't care if my scenes end up in the "popular chart" or not. I enjoy making and posting scenes, and I have a lot of subscribers (currently 308). I hope that a lot of people like my scenes, but of course there are a few screwballs who don't (lol). Anyone can view one or all of my scenes by clicking on my user name. That's all I care about! If my scenes go popular, great! But if they don't, who cares! It's not as if my life will improve if my scenes go popular!

Well, the Illuminati controls most heads of state, so yeah.... it probably is!

Purple Virius -- That code in your scene is not Thyme script. It looks like some form of BASIC. Why did you show that worthless code in your scene? Just wondering.

I've done some hacking back in the "old days" when hackers would cheat the phone companies. But now I behave myself.

Air Force? US Air Force I hope! I'm a former Sailor in the US Navy, back during the "Cold War". I have a commercial pilot license, and so I used to fly aircraft in my younger days, but I never designed them. That takes too much college to learn! Good for you!

Yup, I built a "blue box" which gave me free long distance calls. I did it only for a short time because I was too afraid of getting arrested. Some stupid hackers did get arrested back then.

By the way, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak built and sold blue boxes many years before they started Apple Computers. That was the same timeframe when I built mine from plans that Wozniak published.

Thanks to kilinich and s_noonan for the shorter code suggestions. I already knew how to use both of those methods, but my only excuse for the less efficient code that I used was due to the fact that I was very tired and sleepy when I made this scene. I just wanted to get it done and go to bed!

Not a bug at all. It's how you made the scene.

Thanks- It still has a bug that I'm struggling with. The text is supposed to disappear when the game starts. It does when I load the scene from my computer, but it fails to work when I load the scene from Algobox.


UPDATE: I fixed that bug mentioned above! Now the text and difficulty buttons will disappear when the game starts.

The rocket moves in the wrong direction. When I press Left, it moves right.

ctrl-C is COPY, and ctrl-V is PASTE, so at some point you copied the mouth and forgot about it, and then you pasted it into your Algodoo scene. It's not weird at all. Just something that YOU did, and it surprised you.

I do not understand what this scene does. What do those numbers at the bottom represent? Why do the lasers slide back and forth with the ARROW keys? Sorry, but this makes no sense.

1. Wenn ich drücken Start, um die Szene explodiert!

3. Die Wasserausgabe -Taste ist zu kurz. Es muss länger gemacht werden, so dass die Maschine richtig funktionieren kann.

Wenn Sie diese Probleme zu beheben, wird es dann eine gute Arbeitsmaschine sein!


This scene has many problems!
1. When I press Start, the scene explodes!
2. You can fix that by removing all collision layers (uncheck collision layer A) in the rectangle that has the image of water. Also, you should glue the rectangle to the background. Right click on the rectangle, then left click on "Geometry Actions", and then left click on "Glue to Background".
3. The water dispensing button is too short. It needs to be made longer so that the machine can function properly.

If you fix those problems, it will then be a good working machine!

You know that we do not allow multiple accounts because you agreed to that rule when you registered. If you register more than one account again, bluebusters22, you will be banned from using Algobox.

Ken3344 - Just wondering why you said, "Also my discord name is ken3344"? That doesn't make sense at all because you are saying that your name, Ken3344, is the same as your discord name! And besides that, do you even know what a "discord name" is? I don't think that you are using the word "discord" correctly. Discord means "a disagreement between people", OR, "a lack of harmony between musical notes". So, I think that you do not understand the definition of the word. Other kids, such as magenta102, are also making similar comments because they copied what you said without understanding what it is they are saying!

Who is jspero777? I did a search here on Algobox and I found no user with that name. Are you sure that you spelled it correctly?

The poor guy has no pocket for his cell phone. Did you ask him if he wants one?

The Linkage -- inverted commas? They are quotation marks (or "quotes" which is the shortened name).

Ken3344 -- I hope you didn't spray any brain cells on your keyboard or monitor!

yoshinator 12 -- Really? That's not the Email address that you registered with here on Algobox. So, which one is your real Email address?

I cannot fix your OCD. I can only suggest fixes for your scenes.
