Naw... I'll call you "AL" (short for Alraces).:*)
Oh, then you are using the Algodoo built-in browser for downloading scenes. I don't believe that you can rate scenes through the Algodoo browser. In order to be able to rate a scene, you would need to view the scene through a standard Internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox. Sorry...
Yes, I know. Alraces is your Algodoo screen name. Just like "Xray" is not my real name, but it's the name that I use here on Algobox. People don't use their real name on the Internet in order to have some privacy.
thasan_gamer - Algobox is not the correct place to post your ideas. Go to the Algodoo Forum and click on the heading "Suggestions". That is where you should post your ideas. Chances are good that the right people will see your ideas in the forum, but chances are very slim that they will see them here in Algobox.

BTW - I read your suggestions, and many of them are confusing or they simply don't make any sense. If you want the Algodoo developers to take you seriously, I suggest that you correct your spelling and grammar mistakes, and also make your suggestions clear and understandable. If you are very young and have trouble putting your thoughts into words, then I suggest that you have an adult help you with it.

Also, faytree is correct about the Algodoo developer (Emil) left the development team. And so I doubt very much that Algodoo (the computer program) will be improved in the near future. But there is a better chance that Algobox (this website) will be improved.
Exactly!

Well, this would have been useful in an older version of Algodoo before they put the simulation frequency slider in the options. But now this scene is not needed.

Moving from top to bottom, I count eight differences:

1. The left blue polygons are different shades.
2. The right blue triangles are different shades.
3. The purple rectangles are different shades.
4. The right green triangles are mirror images.
5. The brown squares are different shades.
6. The green rectangles are different shades.
7. The left purple triangles are different shades.
8. The pink circles are facing different angles.

Please explain why you have FOUR user names:

1. Five Nights At Cyans
2. Theheadtunekid
3. Evencomedian201
4. Jadence

If you do not reply soon, then every name will be banned.

Thanks
I try to look at ALL scenes just to make sure that people don't break the rules. It's my job as an Algodoo Admin. I don't play marble races (if that's what you were asking) because I am an adult, and most adults don't play marble races, algicathlons, colored stick people, and those sorts of scenes that mostly children are interested in. Sorry...
OOPS! I just remembered that two of those are already banned, and you were warned not to register any more user names. So, it looks like I will have to ban you again. Some people never learn!
Hey faytree - I think thasan_gamer made you his best friend!
Well, you seem to be very smart for your age. Keep improving your scenes, and in the future when you get very good at making Algodoo scenes then maybe you will be able to teach other people. Keep up the good work!

I gotta go now. Bye
Hmmmmm.... Sounds to me that you need to be more accurate and specific with your "spot the differences" scenes. ;) You also need to explain the "rules" such as, are we only looking at color differences, or ANY differences. If any differences, then even a difference of 0.01 kg in mass difference would count as a difference. But of course then the differences would be much more difficult to find. No offense, but I don't believe that you thoroughly thought about this before posting it.
Well, they are fun to do, and there are no other scenes like them on Algobox!

vaidas369 - Some people apparently have a misunderstanding in regards to my position as Admin. I do not work for Algoryx, and I am not under contract with them. I am just like any other user here on Algobox with the exception that I have been given the authority to enforce the Algodoo Terms of Service (aka, "Rules"), and I have certain tools that allow me to send warnings to users who misbehave, and I can ban users who misbehave after being warned. Except for that (and the fact that I am exceptionally very good looking and super intelligent) I do not have any special powers or authority to rule the world.

Okay, now you know the truth about Admins (well, maybe I exaggerated just a little about being good looking and super intelligent). And I have very little experience developing websites. That would be a monumental task that only the software gurus at Algoryx could possibly handle. It's my understanding that the code for this website is outdated and would probably need to be completely rewritten. So, it would make better economic sense to purchase an off-the-shelf website that can be configured for this specific application. But that sort of decision would be for Algoryx to make.

Thanks
I'm very concerned about the future of the human race.
Try this: Before you run the scene, select all 136 springs, and set damping to -0.01 (make sure that it's a negative number, and it must be very small. -0.01 works just about right for this demo). Then run the scene and watch what happens!

Caution: If the damping value is a large negative number, the springs will become very unstable and they will explode and disappear!

RiBi - This is just the tip of the iceberg. It only gets worse the more you dig into it. Algoryx tied our hands and will not allow Admins like myself do anything about it. So, Algobox has been going down the toilet over the past few months, and unless the company allows us to do our job the way we want to do it, there won't be an Algobox in the near future.
Hey mathmanboy - I hope you will reconsider. At least check back every now and then, and if/when Algobox gets improved, then maybe (hopefully) you will decide to return.

Thanks for using me as an example of a scene that takes a long time to make. It is absolutely true, and the current scene that I am working on (I call it "Zombie Kong") so far has taken me about a week just to do the initial design work, and now the actual construction and Thyme coding will probably take another 2 to 3 weeks. That's because I care about quality, and not quantity.

Hope to see you again soon! :)
Ultra - The word is "grammar" (not grammer). You'd better quit pointing out other people's spelling and grammar errors when you make so many of them yourself because it makes you out to be a hypocrite.
Here's a really good dancer who uses only a few springs: Dancing Man

It uses a motor and crank to keep it moving, but the springs are what creates the awesome dance moves!
Please make them challenging!:) And I suggest that you explain details about what we will be looking for. For example: color differences only? Color and size differences? Shape differences? Etc.

Thanks!
What I mean by details, is to explain in detail what we are supposed to look for. You can explain the details on the scene description page. Just a suggestion. :)
OMG! mathmanboy replied to my post! OMG! OMG! :o
What scripting are you talking about? I looked over your scene and I do not see any scripting at all. :s
That's not "scripting". All you did was to adjust adhesion or attraction values. It's sort of like when you adjust the screen resolution on your computer monitor you are not "programming". Scripting is programming. It's when you write a series of commands that make the geometry perform some actions, such as change color when it collides with another object.

electronicboy - Your "message to ze world!" says a lot, but some of the worst offenders who violate the rules of etiquette and the TOS, are very young children who are not capable of understanding even the first sentence of your message! Therein lies the problem. I've lost count of the number of "Reports" that I have received which have nothing to do with reporting rule violations, but they are idiotic comments such as "I hate blue". If I send the person a warning in order to explain to them why they should not be using the Report link for making silly comments, they reply with more inane comments! So, I feel strongly that we need to do something to prevent very young children from registering. In my opinion, if they are too young to understand the Algodoo Terms Of Service then they should not be allowed to register.
Your walking spider does not walk. It just stands there and does nothing. How can it be made to walk?

This is not what Algodoo is supposed to be used for. If you want to play Q and A, why not do it on FaceBook or some other social media website like that? Algodoo is a physics simulation program, used for making simulations of real world events. Didn't anyone explain that to you?
