@machetegeek : did you seen how its done? it takes ammo from the controlleracc variable. set the ammo block's controlleracc to +inf and its got infinite ammo(infinite - 1 = infinite). Also, notice you cannot scale it without altering some properties(half as ammo check, half as anticopy).
@garret: check the recent russian weapons, they care for performance and not looks, and still pwn all. besides, you could just change hinge control.
Looks are pretty much OK(its not easy to create a mechanical spider. it doesn't matter if its pretty if it has mechanical beauty, like para's cannons.
@Gear97: A Force Field would be unfit for rules of the collab this is inserted on. it would be easy to make through.
Msn : zeuz_ma2(arroba)hot... (sem parenteses)
i think 1500 rounds is pretty much enough for most stuff, machtegeek. just set the controlleracc of the ammo box(its not a common box) to +inf
@Garret: arrows control helicopter, enter drops bombs, numpad controls the rest of weaponry. ctrl(or shift) fires AA guns, Enter(numpad) fires main cannon's 5 round burst
@super cool guy 5: it already runs at 40 percent realtime, so i cant test it. more weapons would mean more lag(even if weapons are on most part scripted, and therefore would theoretically lag less than non-scripted weapons). that means a no, in other words
you need to get the angle between 2 points (mousepos, pos) and compare it with the normal-only angle. you sould know how to do the normal only angle, but, it can be simplified if you are only using e. normal, to:
math.atan(e.normal(1) / (e.normal(0) + 1)) * 2
because the length of the e.normal vector is always 1. for vectors with variable lengths you need to use the other one.
hovewer, ive not managed to think of a math formula to measure the angle betweeen those 2 points.
Another thing you should be aware of is that phun measures angles in radians, so, you might need radians and not degrees to do it
you can improve by making it to turn off after some time. my Flying Fortress's bombs show how its possible.(it uses attraction, not repulsion, so, you WILL need to tweak it a bit)
