Tomski Incorperated has invested over 500 bananas into the development of the M.A.C. (Mobile Animation Contraption)
its a contraption that produces animations and is mobile lol;)
Anyway ive developed a technique for creating animation. not sure if anyone has achieved it this way before?
this is just a test run but im sure its applications are worth looking into!

(no monkeys were harmed during the construction of this scene) :D

wow
Cute monkey! LOL

I have seen this type of animation using rotating lasers before. It's just another common method of switching visible textures. I now do it entirely through script (instead of rotating lasers) because it is faster, and more controllable that way.

Anyhow, nice job as usual, Meestah Tomski!
oh my gosh mister xray! there i was thinking ive pioneered new ground breaking techniques and its already been done!! lol
monkey
tomski -- In case you did not know this, the collision layers are not limited to letters A through J (ten layers), but actually you can have 1023 layers! You do that by setting "collideSet" in the script menu to any integer between 1 and 1023. So, for example if you set collideSet = 3, then collision layers A and B will be enabled (their checkboxes will automatically be checked). It's Okay to enable more than one collision layer at a time in this type of animation process because it does not rely on actual collisions, only hitByLaser. Experiment with collideSet and you will see that your animations can have a lot more frames than you thought they can have! :)
