well, this is damn awesome! I might even do a tutorial on how to build rotary engines like I do them :lol:

PS your engine has way less than the 40-50hp you mentioned in the first tutorial. stalled under 100nm load :x

And i know about the power think... Engine was to learn build not for driving one...:D
But i3 are cool if you make them right. It was to small.
I personally don't prefer engines with odd numbers of cylinders (except radials. all radials are awesome in Algodoo despite the fact that they're kind of useless :lol: ) because if you have a 5cylinder inline than you need to put 72 degrees between pistons and it's hard to do that accurately. With a 6 cylinder inline, you only need 60 degrees which is easy. Also 6 cylinders gives you smoother power because you have more cylinders.

I actually built a 4 stroke i3 like the one in that tractor and the first plane. It ran, but only made 5hp and was 500kg :(

I think i got a about 5-8 HP out of this engine as well:D But its not even close to 500kg:D
It's not too bad of an engine. Runs very stable and has low vibration. With scene.my.acc at 700 I could get 20hp at 45 rad/s.

About that minsk you asked me about earlier, how exactly do you want it? Do you want everything except an engine? or some other way?
Yeah, make everything except the engine part. Make an exhaust as well:D
Basicly what you can draw, i can put a wheels on it and make it going like hell:D So if you want anything you free to ask.

Also i was thinking about making new buggy, like remember my last one? People love it so i thought i should make another one but that is is another time...:D

Hey vaidas, this tutorial was awesome, thanks so much. I just had one question for you though. I finished all the building and scripting, now i'm just going through and assigning the variable to the various objects such as the flywheel, ignition, etc. But what is the "scene.my.abb" pertaining to? Not .acc, i know that's for the acceleration. But .abb i found in one of the lasers' scripts, and I can't find anything on the engine with that code on it. Reply please, I'd really appreciate it_o_
Scene.my.abb - is a function for any of engine flywheels autobrake so the engine could not spin in wrong direction. You can use it as you want, its optional.
