If anything has had me pulling my hair out for the last four years, it's been this. but as many of you may know, I don't give up. ever. Introducing the mind-blowingly ridiculous mechanism of the HK MP5 and G3 series of 4-position trigger packs. I would venture the notion that the German engineer who designed this damn thing is now on a life-long vacation, or is hospitalized from the stress of mechanically annotating each piece.

Edit: I made some adjustments to the selector axle to fix a bug. DON'T OVERDO THE TRIGGER. In semi auto, the selector stops some of the trigger's travel to keep it from going full-auto. If you pull the trigger too hard, there is still a potential for it to slip this surface

The 3-round burst doesn't seem to work right. It runs in full auto.

I've found that when put in single-shot mode it has a tendency to jump into 3-round burst mode. Hmmm... :s

Phil, I concur with pnvv. The problem (in my opinion) seems to be the sluggish detent on the mode selector. It doesn't latch into each detent with a crisp, solid "snap".

I think I may know what's happening. the way it works makes it so the trigger has a shorter pull in semi-auto, and a full-pull in auto and burst. it's just slipping past the index on the selector. I'll make it more rigid

Damn Germans :lol: that's "rather" overcomplicated for a trigger group. Anything new on your design?

P.S: I'd like to see your gunpowder rifle on Algobox ;) just so that I can compare it to my approach
