This is a demonstration of my idea of a burst-mechanism that resets itself automatically when the trigger is released. This allows the weapon to ALWAYS be capable of firing three rounds, even if the previous burst was stopped before a third round could be fired.

on a typical burst mechanism, such as the one seen on the M16, if the operator fires only two rounds with one pull of the trigger but releases before the third is fired, the next pull of the trigger will yield one round. The mechanism I display in this scene solves that problem.
