I'm not quite sure what you mean R3104D...?
You can attach it to a tank if you wish, but it becomes troublesome if the tank does not stay perfectly level, which is why I thought some sort of stabilizer on the circles would be a better idea, rather than the springs I used, that way the main body of the machine can rotate, while keeping the circles pointed downwards.
Haha! Truly excellent! 10/10 from me. Well designed, looks amazing, and doesn't lag.
If people do find it lags however, possibly shortening the chamber the water travels through? Or would this compromise the thrust? I don't know =P
Well upload it then? Jesus Christ don't down rate me just because I DID upload mine. I'm sure plenty of people have done exactly the same thing, it's not complicated.
This is quite good. I've got one extremely similar, which I will probably upload soon.
7/10
Though if you're looking for constructive criticism, I would suggest making the motors on the wheels a bit more powerful, and, auto-braking the motors on the chain, it keeps them a bit tidier when going over difficult terrain. Though thats just my opinion. It's still really good as it is.
Oh wow, I've never seen that equation before, it's from E=hf, and E=mc˛ right? But by virtue of traveling at the speed of light, a photon "can't" have a mass.
Right??
I just used that equation...
m = 6.63^-34 x 450/(3^8)˛
m = 3.315^-48
Cooooooooooooooooool
I retract my previous statement, photos apparently do have mass when they travel at the speed of light, sweet.
I only have the phun edition so maybe I'm missing something, but...
Terrible texture, awfully cut out, pointless suspension, it's supposed to "suspend" the car, (surprise surprise) yours just constantly bottoms out and does nothing, it's jittery and causes it to drift when I don't press anything. Theres no track to have a go of (even a little one would have sufficed) and even then, D collision?! Why D collision? Whats wrong with A collision?
Maybe I'm missing the point, but it feels like zero effort has gone into this.
Thanks for all your help, I've been looking at this and I think I'm going to start all over again with a different car.
The suspension was glitching like crazy, and I found the reason it was bouncing around so much, was because of the tire, when I hollowed it out for the alloys, it seems to have messed with the collisions for circles or something, I added another, slightly larger wheel behind it, and made it transparent and it worked fine, but, it made the layers more complicated than I want.
I have to agree with ianno, this is a neat little proof of concept, very original, and I like it. But, it would be much better to see this used in some sort of context, get peoples imaginations going as to what this could be used for, I don't have any suggestions myself, but this scene feels a bit unfinished and it's a shame.
On that basis I'm going to give it an 8/10, otherwise, good work.
And yeah the filesize is a bit on the large side for something so small (It still downloaded in like less than 5 seconds for me) but I don't think it should be rated down for this.
I forgot to mention that if you want to clear the jumps you should reverse to the black line, and hold down D until you're told to brake.
And I just downloaded it to make sure everything was okay, and the suspension broke typical. I'm sorry if it does, just have to rewind and start again I'm afraid.
This is amazing, I'm at a loss for words. If only every scene in phun was made with such attention to detail. Truly an inspiration, I just wish I had the patience to make something like this.
Epic, 10/10, this was immense. Could do with tidying up though, like making the fixtures smaller/transparent. And making the slopes a bit smoother at the lip. But I don't think they're big enough problems to bring the rating down. It was really fun playing this. Well done.
