I'd just like to say, mate, that I've been using your fantastic tower for all my Phun/Algodoo destruction satisfaction for almost 8 years. I know I can't do or say much, but I just want to give you a huge thank you for basically being a part of my life
Well, the pointing towards the ground is to be expected - you are going out of the range of the mathematical function, which I believe just returns zero in that case.
Being off target (not pointing towards the mouse) is wholly expected - it uses ballistics rather than pointing directly, to counteract gravity!
Sorry, guys!
You place the laser so that when you press L, it hits your target. Say you have a plane you want it to follow, you place the plane in the path of the laser, and then press L. Those three blocks will remain close-by to the target, so you can fly about, and press 1 2 or 3 to fire homing missiles.
It's just the style I preferred, because it meant that I could fly my planes and simulate a fighter tailing behind it
While, yes, it'd be great if Algodoo had real steam, the pressure provided by circles demonstrates clearer
Hence the multi-colours, so you can follow the pressure!
Well, I've tried two methods, both with high edgeBlur:
one changes colour from red to blue, depending on how fast the particle is moving
the other just looks like steam
But the problem is both use up a hell of a lot of GPU power!
However, even though the actively coloured one does use lots of CPU, it doesn't affect things too much, and so I've switched to that!
It's nice to see how fast it's going, that's why I left them on. Why on Earth would I not know how to turn them off when I've been playing this game for over a decade...
