This scene does not work because the variables: reHealTick and health do not exist. Local variables must begin with an underscore character in order for them to be saved with the scene. So, for example, _reHealTick and _health
The scene might work for you because you created it on YOUR computer, but it does not work for other people who download it from Algobox. It should work if you make those changes on all of the shapes that are floating around in the scene.
In the scene a box text says "yet wheni click send into orbit, insted of orbiting it flys away" Well, I do not see anything that reads "send into orbit". Where might that be so that I could test your scene?
What "button" are you talking about that Admins should know about? I never heard of such a thing! Maybe they did not teach it when I was in Admin School!
Well, just because I'm an Admin doesn't mean that I know everything.
To be honest, I have NEVER used that button, and I have no idea what it does. I will have to check the forum to see if anyone has written anything about it. Before I can determine if your scene is working or not, I need to determine how that button is supposed to function. This may take a while....
I think the problem is the fact that the green object is MUCH more massive than the black hole. If you increase the mass of the black hole (maybe by at least an order of magnitude) then the green object will orbit it.
Zozimoto - Why do you keep asking if you can be a moderator? I already answered you. But just in case you missed it for some reason, I will repeat my answer here: NO!
And please do not ask me WHY you cannot be a moderator because my answer might embarrass you. So, just forget about it.
lololoer - The scene was deleted but I don't know why or who deleted it. I don't see anything wrong with it such as profanity or anything else that would cause ME to delete it. DO YOU KNOW WHY IT WAS DELETED?
bircant2001 -- I don't know why you have been ignoring my warnings, but that's why you were banned for three days. We do not allow "Message" type scenes because Algobox is not a forum and we do not want it to turn into one. So, if you did not receive my warnings for whatever reason, maybe you will read this comment so that you will know why you were banned. After three days if you continue to upload MESSAGE type scenes, then you will be banned for 10 days. Then if your behavior continues, you will be banned permanently. I hope you won't let that happen!
Lester12345 -- I send you private warnings about using the Report tab inappropriately but you do not seem to change your behavior. Maybe you do not receive my warnings for some reason, and so I will tell you here in this public comment..... DO NOT USE THE REPORT TAB FOR MAKING SILLY OR LAME COMMENTS ABOUT MARBLES! THE REPORT TAB IS ONLY USED FOR REPORTING OTHER MEMBERS WHO DO BAD THINGS SUCH AS USING PROFANITY OR MAKING THREATS TOWARD OTHER MEMBERS. IF YOU CONTINUTE TO USE THE REPORT TAB INAPPROPRIATELY, THEN YOU WILL RISK GETTING BANNED FROM THIS WEBSITE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?
Concerning the thumbs-up, I believe you can only see the smiley faces by using a normal browswer such as Internet Explorer. You cannot see them if you are using the browser that is built-in to Algodoo.
buildman - First of all, when you make what sounds like an angry DEMAND, no one, including me, is going to help you. So, calm down and ASK for help in a nice manner instead of demanding that it be fixed.
Second, when you use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, it seems like you are shouting, and it's the same situation. When you shout at people they will less likely want to help you.
Thirdly, I tried to duplicate your complaint and I was not able to. So, try to be more specific as to the exact keystrokes you are using, and I MIGHT be able to help you. If I cannot figure out what's going on, then you will have to ask the forum.
There is nothing wrong with the scene. The problem is, YOU are doing something wrong. When you fail at doing something, it's not always the other person who has a problem. Also, I suggest that you turn off your caps-lock key because it looks like you are SHOUTING, and people do not like to get shouted at.
Some websites have Admins AND Moderators. Algodoo forum and Algobox have only Admins. Moderators typically help out explaining the rules, and they often engage in the forum conversations and answer questions about the website or the product that the website is about. Moderators typically do not have the authority to ban users or to make changes to the user accounts. Admins do have total authority to make changes to user accounts as well as all the duties that Mods have.
ngphil - Yeah, I was not very specific, and so you did it the way you thought it should be done. And you did a great job on your scene. I could not have done it any better.
I'm not very good at all with making mechanical devices in Algodoo, and so that's why I have to rely so much on scripting. Thanks for the kudos and comments!
1. Do not press D (which deletes the green instruction box)
2. Right click on the instruction box and then hover your cursor on "Material" so that the Material menu shows.
3. Move the "Attraction" slider all the way to the right (100 Nm^2/kg^2)
4. Press "Space" to start Algodoo, and the nut will float out of the glass!
Of course, it would be more fun to make a "Rube Goldberg" machine to do it!
