It appears that there are some marbles missing. Is that right? Can you explain how it works so that I can add two numbers with it? At this point, it doesn't do anything.
My only suggestion is, the restitution value in the canon is way too high (you have it set to 3050.00) which propels the mortar rounds so far up that they never come back down! I tried adjusting it to around 300 or so, and that seems about right for that type of weapon. Besides that minor detail, you did a great job for a first scene!
I'm not so sure that you achieved that because there are a LOT of powerful guns and cannons here on Algobox. I guess the real test would be if you are claiming that the projectiles from your cannon have the most kinetic energy of any other cannon, or if the projectiles have the highest velocity of any other cannon, or if the projectiles have the most destructive potential. So, you see, it all depends on how you define "most powerful". Then, once you decide on a definition of the term "most powerful", you would need to PROVE your claim by going through all the gun and cannon scenes on Algobox to determine how powerful THEY are (which would be a huge task for anyone!)
Do what? Trade Algocards? That's not what this website is about. Now, if you wanted to make some awesome "dynamic" cards that move, shake, rotate, flash or wiggle, then that's different! Just don't turn this website into something that it wasn't intended to be
I wasn't a soldier in the Army, so I have no idea. But I would guess that it depends on how far away the enemy is, and how far the projectile is capable of going. Other than that, sorry I cannot answer the question.
Marble Man -- Don't do something that you will regret. If you want to trade cards, there are other websites where you can do that sort of thing. Algobox is a website for sharing dynamic scenes made with Algodoo. It is not for buying/selling with Algodollars and it is not for swapping, trading, buying, selling "Algocards".
Yes, I am an Algodoo Admin. An Admin (short for Administrator) is more than just a moderator. I can delete scenes, give warnings, and BAN users who do not play by the rules.
I try to be fair to people, but there are limits on what I will allow on this website. If you don't like the rules, then go somewhere else.
Why are you still here? In your previous scene (which I deleted) you said you are "logging out", never to return. Now you are back!
Well, that is Okay with me so long as you do not log in with any of your other user names like BeefyV2, BeefyDuck, Muzzamm154,Muzzamm13, Select Lol, muzzammi, pcrap, pcrap987, mong, mongim, or mongsim. If you log in with any of those other names, then you will be banned for using multiple accounts here on Algobox. Do you understand?
Leave a comment if you have anything to say about this.
I see that you are new to Algobox, but you had already created many scenes. Why do you still use Phun? The latest version of Algodoo is free and available to anyone. The problem with using Phun is, your scenes do not work very well when played with the latest version of Algodoo. The tanks (for example) fall straight down and continue falling forever! Most people use Algodoo, so your scenes will not be useful to most people unless you convert them to Algodoo.
Try searching in the Algodoo forum. There are a lot of posts regarding chains, and you may be able to find one that can help you resolve the problem with Algodoo chains. If you log-in, you can ask questions, and maybe someone will help you with that issue.
Once you start making scenes with Algodoo, I don't think you will want to go back to using Phun again, especially if you get that issue with the chains resolved!
Sn is the symbol for the metallic element Tin. You could find the names of the other materials by looking up the symbols in the Periodic Table of Elements. Let Google be your friend!
NOTE: nateweatherby may cause some confusion in his scene because he used Algodoo materials which are different from the elemental materials that he shows the symbols for. For example, he used "Steel" as the material for the box under the symbol for Tin. He should have done that differently in my opinion.
theracer5000 - Inoffensive comments? What are you talking about? Don't you mean "offensive" comments? Anyway, I don't see any offensive comments either in the scene or in the comments area. Please don't report every picky thing that you happen to not agree with or not like because you waste my time when you do that. Only report major offenses such as personal threats, insults to a person's religion, race, or sexual orientation, or when someone uses profanity.
This is a clever idea, but the spawned white circles look more like ice-melt salt or white beads than they look like sparks. In my humble opinion there are other scenes that produce much more realistic looking sparks, and so maybe you should copy the script from one of those other scenes. Sorry, I'm just being honest.
