Creative use of the processor!
Nice!

Unfortunately the next computer has been delayed due to fears over it running slowly on Algodoo.

I'll have to spend extra time optimizing the code.
yes they do
I was able to upgrade it to be able to be incredibly strong.
Interesting scene. I feel tempted to make my own now.
I'm sure it'd definitely be possible.
I'll probably work on the S1 after I finish the AHOX Modifier project, and incorporate this into it.

Who knows, maybe the S1 will have a computerized laser sensor so it's more accurate?
I'm quite surprised how well this simulation did.
Algodoo getting over it 3 should be out some time soon. The controls are more similar to the real game, so it should be a lot smoother. The map is also more accurate.
Good news.

I thought of a way this COULD be possible.

For one, those objects would undoubtedly get pulvurized over time (though that'd still spin the turbine), but it's possible that portals disintegrate over time instead of whenever stuff goes through them.

That or the portal gun just needs infinite power.
The codecruncher is out.
This scene is absolutely the bomb!
...No, really. Whenever I smash the computer it seems to explode everywhere.
The first part is right, but the point of C3 is to pump water into itself, which showcases the problem with this design.

But C1 does pump into C2.
My problem isn't that. The pump works fine. It's that the black (input) slowly deletes more water than it detects.
But I see what you mean. For some reason, even though I explicitly remember not telling it to, the pump at C3 deletes itself.
The "pistons" are purely decoration, as the wheels are powered anyway.

Unpowering them makes the vehicle slowly stop, meaning that it is not powered by the pistons.
Doesn't work. I threw it at the ground super fast and it still stayed in 1 piece.

But bonus points for detail, I suppose.
I know
I found out that it only lags like that in the writer, and when there's a lot of scrolling going on in code mode.
Though interestingly, despite my PC being a loaf of potatoes, it runs this scene almost identically as yours does.

It really makes me think that Algodoo is limited in some way.

That doesn't look like the USA.
Ah, another person who was interested in the Lunar Eclipse!

I took a really nice picture of it, not trying to brag!

That's a bug in the software. Some software doesn't have it, proving it is a software bug and not a bug with the computer. Nonetheless it is a flaw.
ah yes
laser powered roomba

nate, you are brilliant
Since you are allowed to put announcements in comments, I will announce that I won the competition by a very slight 20cm/s.
It's decent but it's also too compact. Next time you should increase the spring length or make the parts have no self collision so that it can squish. Also, this is optional, but you should try to give the springs damping. It bounces like there's no tomorrow.
Cute
Not gonna spoil it though, play the scene for yourself to see what was in the egg

+7
Woah....
It's fine.

I plan to soon completely overhaul the GPU as I found that was causing the majority of the lag, contrary to all common sense.

I still don't see how a text scroller is more laggy than a virtual processor, but oh well.
The reason I have come to this conclusion is that the scene runs just fine until scroll mode is enabled, and during this lag removing the CPU only adds about 5 FPS but removing the GPU adds a good 20.

I wonder if I could reduce the lag and improve readability at the same time by making the screen lower resolution.
