After you drive a certain distance, almost every checkpoint collides with the car, which is very frustrating. Also, there was a point near the end where the track did not collide with the tires. 5/10 because the car looks nice, but the track is screwed up really bad .
Maybe you're using phun or an outdated version of algodoo? I have no idea why it would delete it other than you have the wrong program, the scene worked perfectly fine for me.
That's really weird...It doesn't do it to me, so it must be the file I uploaded. I'll test it and get back to y'all.
Edit: Oooooohhh, I saw it. It's because the simulation is running at 100Hz, and the springs that make the messages appear are highly dampened. I'll fix that immediately. Thanks for telling me, guys.
Looks nice, but doesn't reload very well. I had to send most of the parts of the launcher and mags to the back to reload, otherwise I had no idea when a nade was chambered.
7/10 for looking good, but being somewhat difficult to use.
Kinda goofy, can't cycle properly unless you actually fire it. Also, you say it's a semi auto firing system, but it's full auto (and barely has a firing system, just a motored killer). Just hold down enter and it'll continually fire (with many jams, I might add).
What else can I say about this...Oh, too many polygons. Polygons are best used when they're absolutely necessary, and boxes/circles are best any other time. Makes a much smoother and better working machine when you don't use polygons.
5/10 Because it doesn't fire all too well, is not re-loadable, and you can't remove a grenade shell unless you drag it out or fire it out.
No...just no...Okay maybe not just no. I gotta say why it's no. First of all, it's annoying that it's already loaded and you don't say so. I would've broken the gun double-loading it if I hadn't noticed. Second of all, the shell does not fire properly, and rest assured, I have 1.8.5, it's not just because I have an outdated version. The casing flies backwards out of the cannon, and the big cannon shot doesn't disconnect from the casing.
Third of all, it's kind of annoying that I have to throw the ammo crates around to get to the ammunition. Fourth and last of all, not a big problem but it is annoying: The freaking cannon will not stay still. It wobbles so much, I wondered if it had been drinking, but then I realized it has no digestive tract, and so can not drink.
All in all, it looks kinda nice, doesn't fire correctly, wobbles allot, and the ammo is annoying to get to. 5/10
I am so sick of people adding triggers to guns that don't work. I had to search through the gun to figure out that the trigger is completely useless. Next time you make a gun, don't put a trigger on it if it's gonna be useless. Other than the trigger, it's an alright gun I guess. Of course, everybody says you stole it, so...5/10 until further notice.
Looks really good, and works really well. 9/10 because the tower can just barely go low enough for the lowest apple, and you can't move the apple baskets without them falling through the apple picker.
If you want to type in the color in the script menu for the fade lasers, you have to do each laser separately.
If you just want an exact color, like perfectly blue or yellow or whatever, then you can use the appearance menu for the lasers, change the color, and check the script menu for one of the lasers. If it's not exactly red or green or whatever, then change the color a little bit.
Works well for a first engine . Here are some tips for you:
Make the piston either as tall as or taller than it is wide.
Heighten the crank shaft's density to 20 Kg. It heightens the stability. (The circle that you're spinning is the crank shaft(I think))
Other than that, it's very good. Oh, and the starter didn't work. Had to drag it to start it.
8/10, could be more stabile, but very good anyway.
To type in the color of an object, open its script menu, and you should see somewhere near the top "color = [(red's value),(Green's value),(Blue's value),(Opacity's value)]".
Type in whatever combination of colors you want, like [1,1,0,1] would be yellow, and totally opaque. [0,0,1,0.5] would be blue and half transparent.
To type in color, type color=red with [] brackets around it behind what you want to be colored, then type /color in brackets after what you wanted to be colored.
Example: color=red Typing in color, typing in color, WOOO /color
Well, originally I edited this scene a little, and then it crashed my driver, but I couldn't save it because any time I made it, I'd close algodoo when it crashed my driver and it wouldn't onexitsave. So I made the easy display driver crasher.
Why yes there is!You can also do italic text. Try to make a new post in the forums, and you'll see all the different effects you can use. There's allot.
Haha, yeah 1.9.8 is really nice, thanks for suggesting it. Thanks for the rating too. One thing I love about 1.9.8 is that you can do algobox stuff from algodoo.
I'm doing it right now! XD It's almost turning into that algodoo web browser everybody was talking about on the forums...
