WoW, thats amazing! The alteration of the lasers color through bending impressed me !!
I never knew about the ability of bending lasers by great mass (yes indeed in the reality i know this but not for algodoo)
Make more scenes like this!
Okay I'll answer your question but like hanibal lecter says: Quid pro Quo! ;-P
Would you help me with an expanded and more complex scene based on this one? A collaboration perhaps with your name in credits... ???
hey dont take it too serious! I would answer you on every way!
I just wanted to colaborate with the "best" scripters here...
okay here are the explainations:
1.- this is just an artifact. There is no reason anymore. could delete it for an update.
2.- the variablle "_launch *10" is not my idea... it was suggested by another user that helped me with that. It has the effect, if a laser hits an object the
thruster's force will increase up to 10 times of the basic force.
The Circles rotate at a very high rate. the reason is a very high frequented "radar" scanning of the surrounding area. the result is that the circles slowly move to each other because of the laser-bound millisecond forces in direction of nearby geometries. Do you understand what I mean?
3.- answered at (2)
4.- Every particle is composed of 2 axis-bound circles - and they their rotation is the same but in opposed directions.
It should produce a more accurate and more symmetrical force to the other particles. But I really don't know, if it does work like supposed to be.
Okay hoope you understood the scene now - are there still questions?
That is really awesome and remnds me very much of the video-game called "Limbo" !
Make the Arrow-Key Force just a little bit lower - that would increase the challenge factor!
After I have cleared the Level - i waited for the next one ^^ I would like to see more levels and If it is possible to load new levels after clearing one (per script) , you could possibbly be the first one on Algodoo, who creates a whole multi-leveled game. It would be sooo interesting! Go On! Make more!
Hello s_noonan,
I Really thank you so much for that perfekt solution !! =)
Your scenes are impressing and show me that you are a true Genius of physics -especially of scripting.
I think many here would like to see an
"entertaining" scripting-tutorial-scene as a lesso for dummies (like me
Where beginners could get their initial motivation for scripting.
Thats absoluttely awesome and makes so much fun (per trial and error - but dying here is not frustrating ... it motivates to go on until you find the right way to solve the challenge!
Thanks also for the links. Did not know that hypertext is possible here.
Is thyme scripting based on a more universal and well known script language that computer science students use, or have even those to learn thyme from the basics and the bottom up like me?
