MyNameIsThis -- To explain how to make a working space shooting game would be much too large and complex to write here in the comments. There are too many details that would have to be explained. The first thing I would suggest is for you to learn Thyme Scripting. Until you are proficient with scripting, you won't be able to make a serious space shooter game. After you lean Thyme Scripting, then you should download games that others have made to get some ideas. That's how most other people learned how to make games here on Algobox.
Quote: "Thyme trig functions work with radians, not degrees."
Yes, I know that but for most people, it's easier to think in terms of 360 degrees in a circle rather than 2Pi radians. It certainly was easier for me when learning math in high school.
Oh, that could be. I do not work for Algoryx, I am just a volunteer Admin here on Algobox. So, you most likely chatted with someone at Algoryx which I do not see unless they need to send me a copy for some reason.
By the way, it is perfectly acceptable to ask for technical help here on Algobox for things related to Algodoo or Algodoo scenes.
Just a suggestion: You wrote "Everything explained in the scene", but it's really very little and it's confusing. I read it and I have no idea what you are asking. My suggestion is, when you ask for technical help, first describe WHAT you are trying to do. Maybe say a little something about the scene and how you want it to work. Then explain exactly what you need help with. With that detailed information, people will have a better idea about what you are trying to do, and how they may be able to help you.
Ummmm..... You are not asking for technical help! You are telling people to make whatever planets they want to. So called "camp" scenes or "voting" scenes are NOT allowed here on Algobox. If you are truly not asking for help with something than this scene will need to go.
Yeah, this story is total nonsense and there are a few images of what appears to be blood, but it doesn't violate any of the rules.
Some people seem to enjoy posting scenes that depict gruesome acts of violence, murder, broken body parts, torture, and other horrible acts. I don't like seeing those things but the rules do not forbid them. One thing that I despise is cruelty to animals, and if I see a scene that shows that, I will immediately delete it and give the user a warning. I happen to love animals. They have just as much right to live a good life as humans do.
Half of the white pieces cannot be seen, and half of the black pieces cannot be seen either because they are exactly the same color and shade as the board squares. I have a suggestion, and that is to make the black pieces a bit lighter, and make the white pieces a bit darker. Then they will show up!
You should be able to EDIT the scene rather than to upload a separate new scene.
This is funny (well at least to "older" guys like myself). The reason is, Rush and the Doors are two well known Rock groups. The Doors was popular in the late 1960's, and Rush was popular in the 1980's and early 1990's. Too long ago for most of the kids on Algobox to know about.
Both trucks have issues with their wheels. On the truck on the left (controlled by the a,s, and d keys) it has the brakes on even when not moving! That's because you have the "Brake" checkbox checked on both wheels and so you need to uncheck them. Also, the back wheel appears to be rotating in the wrong direction. That's why you needed to check the "Reverse" checkbox in order to make it rotate correctly. But that's not right! I was able to get it to rotate in the correct direction by removing the wheel and axle from the body, and then place them back on the body again! After you do that you should be able to uncheck the "Reverse" checkbox and it should rotate correctly. The truck on the right has a really lopsided axle. It is off-center causing the wheel to warble while turning. I think you just need to put it back on so that it rotates correctly. After fixing those issues with the wheels, the trucks will move smoothly and properly!
This has the same problem as your FedEx trucks. That is, the Brakes are constantly on even while not moving! Simply uncheck the "Brake" checkbox and reupload the scene. That will fix it!
Actually, this is "sort of" a Geneva Drive but it's missing the curved section that holds the wheel from turning in-between indexes. You are almost there, but it needs a little more work if you want it to be correct.
