I searched on Algobox to see if anyone has created a Glock 43 scene and I could not find one. So, when you have time would you consider making a Glock 43 scene? I own one in real life.
Someone else asked me the same question a few weeks ago. You only need to refer to the date/time stamp that Algobox assigns to every uploaded scene which is YOUR local timezone if you have it set correctly. So, for example, if you see "2022/01/11" assigned to three of your scenes, then don't post any more scenes until the next day in your timezone. Just make sure that your account is adjusted to your local time zone which can be set in the "Settings" tab near the top of this web page.
I don't know why that would mess up your scene because it looks correct. You are creating an array named "_list" which contains two elements "_x" and "_y". Maybe you did something else that messed it up. Or maybe you tried to create that array BEFORE you created the two custom variables _x and _y. That could be what caused your problem. Can you go ahead and post your scene? You can title it "For Xray". In the scene description explain what you did just before it messed up, and explain what you would like it to do. Maybe I can figure out why it got messed up. Do you want to do that?
JP -- I wasn't sure what you meant by that and so I tried it myself. When I deleted those objects in the scene, they were removed as usual and nothing unusual happened. But if I deleted them while Algodoo was in RUN mode, then Algodoo would halt and control would switch back to my computer desktop as normal. I then loaded the scene again and looked for any script that Algodooper may have put in it. I found an "exit" command in the oNdie event. That's how the scene quits after a few seconds. He simply put "3.0" for timeToLive. So, when timeToLive times out, the circle object dies and because of the "exit" command, Algodoo halts and returns to Windows. Simple but clever!
To answer your question would take a very long time, especially if you have little or no knowledge and experience with scripting. The best thing for you to do is to search through the Algobox archive for other paint and drawing scenes, and look how they did it. Some are very simple like your scene, and others are complex which use a lot of scripting. You might find some that give you ideas for your own scene.
Then learn it! Look through the Algodoo FORUM, especially the topic titled "Thyme Scripting". Some of it you won't understand but there's a lot of basic stuff there for newbie scripters. If you make the effort and put in the time to learn it, you will be rewarded with power to make awesome scenes which you don't have without it. How much you learn is totally up to you.
I once flew from New York to London on an airplane that looked exactly like the one in this scene. In fact, I think that's me sitting on the outside skin of the fuselage. That was the coldest flight I've ever been on. They wouldn't even let me have an oxygen mask! I'll never do that again.
Overall, great job on the scene. I also rated it a 10.
Question: There seems to be little or no damping in the suspension system for pitch. For example, when I grab either the front or rear of the car and let it drop a short distance, it oscillates alternating between front and rear (unstable pitch). Is that typical of this type of suspension, or do you simply need to increase damping?
Nope, not broken. This is just an odd behavior of Algodoo water which has been reported by newbie users like yourself for over 10 years. Don't worry about it because it will always be that way.
Delta - I have a suggestion for you. Leave a comment on the scene you want tested asking people to check it out and report any problems or issues in the comments. That way, many more people than just me will be able to test it for you.
I will test it if/when I have time but I don't know when that will happen.
UPDATE: I had a chance to test your scene, and I left you some comments.
There are a couple of things that I wanted to mention: 1. When the fuel gauge goes to Empty, the car continues to run.
2. In your description you said you added "gas" and "break" icons. Well, there are three issues with them: 1. the word should be "brake" (not break). 2. Rather than gas and brake icons, they behave like forward and reverse icons. 3. When moving either forward or reverse, the pedal icons shake up and down for some reason.
Also, the car will not drive up that very steep hill even when holding both the A and D keys as you suggest in the scene instructions. Maybe need more friction?
One more thing: Those yellow circles with the numbers don't seem to do anything when hit by the car. Also, they sometimes get stuck around the driver's head while moving forward. Then they float away when the car is stopped.
Your story reminds me when I was a teen (a very long time ago) some of my friends in school were writing words and images on their bluejeans by dipping a cotton swab into bleach and then using the swab like a paint brush. It made the pants look horrible, but that was a fad for a short time period. Most parents (including mine) were not at all happy about that!
