@Thanks, i take it that the values on the dial are x10 which would give me around 190 hp at 1800 rpm.
@The Linkage*
@The Linkage Thanks, what does legacyMode mean exactly? I see it used alot but don't know its affect on the physics.
3500 RPM? That's insanely fast! With negative adhesion, the engine's RPMs have the potential to become more realistic to regular car values. What do you think is the maximum possible RPM value in the 100s Hz range?
@The Linkage I guess i'll be using the sping hinge from now on then. thanks.
I guess this is now the most realistic engine in algodoo now HP, size and RPM wise; Especially for a diesel engine as they usually max at 6000RPM.
@The Linkage Oh right, never knew that. I've never had any issues and had engines running by accident in the background for hours.
@The Linkage Thanks, will do from now on.
Awesome stuff! Great to see you back!
@The Linkage I didn't put much effort into this scene. I just stuck an engine on one of my old bikes. I might come back to it to make it more realistic; the huge power output from biker is due to the significant weight of the whole thing lol.
Seen you in youtube videos, amazing stuff!
Leave a comment guys!:)
@vaidas369 Thanks, turned down the edge blur and added a course. Check out my Yaris as well:)
OMG, i used to love your older scenes as a kid, nostalgia. Hope you're back.
@Xray, That's great, thank you.

I've saved a copy of this now so you can remove this.

I'll work from this idea in my next scene. I'll make it so the pallet fork can drive the balance wheel and therefore maintain the speed.

Thanks again,
Max.
I will also add that while this system works, it would be nice to have the balance wheel spin maybe one full rotation to the left and right rather than half turns, this will make it more realisitc but I can't think of any way of doing this. I've tried using bend target in the script, but it will also return to the same place regardless of how many turns you make. Actual escapments use a type of spring I'm confident isn't able to be created in algodoo without too many variables throwing off the timing.
Wow this is great, thanks. The way you've done the script is a little above what I'd understand lol.

I'll incorporate this though in my next scene.

Thanks again, I've saved this one also.
I don't know if you're still around.

It's been so long since the original Golden Knight game came out that it gives me nostalgia playing it again.

I used to love these games.
