With multiple accounts a person can give themself high ratings on their scenes and can leave comments as if they were from a different person. In other words, multiple accounts give a person tools to cheat the system.
That's all I'm going to say about it, so please don't ask more questions or say stuff like "but.... but.... but...." if you know what I mean. Multiple accounts will get a person banned quicker than my dog eats a juicy steak.
In your future scenes put camera pan and zoom script in "PostStep" rather than in "Update" so that people can zoom in and out while scene is not running.
If you want the laser beams to look more like clock hands, then right click on each laser and reduce the fade distance from 300m to something that fits this clock, like maybe 5 or 8m.
Because Algobox is not for teaching English language, grammar, syntax, or etymology. It's supposed to be for posting dynamic scenes made with Algodoo that people can share with others. In case you didn't know this, Algodoo is a physics simulation program. It's not a text editor, and it's not for posting static images of stick-men, but that sort of thing happens every day. I even recently deleted a song that someone posted because this is not a website for teaching song lyrics or music theory. Some people try to make Algobox into something it was never intended to be, and it's my job to police it to make sure that it doesn't.
I doubt they will do any updates to Algodoo, mainly because the engineer who developed it, Emil Emerfeldt, has left the company a few years ago. The other reason is because it's free. So Algoryx makes no profit on it.
I hope they will surprise us all some time down the road by updating it, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
DUDE - Like I said before, you shouldn't try to teach a subject that you know nothing about. It's obvious to me that you know NOTHING about scripting. These script pieces that you show in the scene are little snippets of code that you probably copied from someone else's scene. Am I right?
By the way, if you want me to I can delete this scene for you. Just let me know and it will be gone.
Yeah, I noticed that too. The reason why it works is because UnityDogGaming04 set the sim frequency to a very low value (6.0 Hz). A low sim frequency causes Algodoo to calculate things like position information very slowly which allows the moving block to slip past the walls of the room before Algodoo realizes what happened!
If you set the sim frequency to 60 Hz, which is the default value, then it would be impossible for you to make the same type of move.
UDG04 -- Here is a scene that I posted a long time ago which demonstrates the timing difference between PostStep and upDate. You may find it to be interesting and useful: Script Timing Demo
Before digging into the history of this engine, and just prior to downloading this scene, I thought to myself, "I wonder how he made a piston out of liquid?"
Nice demo and excellent mechanical precision as usual.

That happens all the time. You aren't the first, and you certainly won't be the last. Well, if no one complains about it, then you should be okay. But if someone complains, then I will let you know, and we will figure out what to do next.
Thanks for the tip! But next time you see someone violating a rule, please click the REPORT tab attached to the scene. You can briefly explain what violation you are reporting. I will receive the report and take care of it.
In your comment above, you said "someone posting results". Well, that doesn't help me at all because I don't know who that "someone" is.
It helps me a great deal when people report things they see on Algobox because I don't always catch every violation. Thanks again!
