You did a very good job on this walker. It is very stable, and will not fall over while walking, but I do not understand how the stabilization system works. I selected all of the hidden features so that I could reveal the secret parts that give the walker its stability. I see three spinning bars that speed up and slow down and reverse directions depending on how the walker behaves. They appear to be very effective at stabilizing the walker. Could you please explain in detail how those spinning bars help to stabilize the walker? I would like to learn their secrets so that I could implement a similar stabilizer in some of my own scenes.
To answer your ambiguous but clever question, I will give you a multi-faceted answer: YES and NO. Yes, because it certainly is a liquid, and No, because it is not the answer for the world's insatiable appetite for energy.
"quality" with a "smooth" and "professional" look? WOW! What a refreshing change from all the kiddie camps that get uploaded these days. There are only a handful of us who are still here from the early days of Algodoo when most people made scenes that actually DID things, and most of those scenes were scripted. Over the past 3 or 4 years, most of the very talented, mature people have left Algobox, and it has now been overrun with toddlers, children, and young teens who only post cartoon images of colorful stick people posing. It's very sad, but that's what happened.
Here is another wind simulator, but this one uses the actual Algodoo wind! It is very realistic, and you can adjust the intensity of the wind..... Windmill Example
You missed my point. Allow me to explain it this way..... You posted a scene titled "What is this", which could mean one of two things as follows: 1. You have no idea what that image represents, and so you are asking the Algodoo community if they know what it means so that they can explain it to you. Or 2. You do know what that image represents and you are posting it as sort of a quiz or a contest to see if anyone else knows what it represents. The first person who gives you the correct answer is the winner, and you will send them $100 cash and a brand new car worth $22000 (twenty two thousand dollars).
You may not know this, but if you SUBSCRIBE to your own scenes, then you do not need to constantly check to see if anyone posted a comment. When you subscribe to a scene, even your own scene, Algobox will alert you via your Email, and also at the top of the Algobox page, when you receive a new comment posting. Much better than checking your scenes a dozen times each day! LOL
Hey, your Please Read scenes got deleted because you were using Algobox like a Chat Room. We do not allow general chit chat in scenes. The only type of message we allow is to inform others that you are going to be gone from Algobox for some time period, or if you have returned. Except for that type of message, we do not allow any other general comments, questions, or other kinds of small talk (chatting).
Yes, you did. It seems every time you think of something new, you add another comment rather than putting all of your thoughts in ONE comment. People don't like that, and it makes you look like a moron (no insult intended). If you post a comment and then later think of something more to add, just EDIT your original comment rather than post a new one. I don't think you can edit comments if you use the Algodoo built-in scene browser. You would have to use a standard web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer. I never use the built-in browser because it sucks. But some people do use it, and it limits what they can do.
Concerning any repairs or updates to Algodoo, it will probably never happen, so we are stuck with exactly how it currently is. I don't have a problem with some of the issues that you have complained about because I know how to work around most of those problems. And that's my suggestion to you. Find out what it takes to work around those few little problems that you mentioned, and then you will no longer be annoyed by them!
That's all....
EDIT: I wanted to show you what an edited comment looks like, and so I added this just for you! This is what YOU can do if you would use a regular browser instead of that stupid Algodoo browser. Try it!
Apparently you are not receiving my warnings for some reason. Your scenes titled "Top 10 Worst Songs of 2008" are not allowed on Algobx because this is not a song website! If you continue posting that type of scene, then you will be permanently banned from Algobox. I hope you won't let that happen.
rcdragon has been banned from Algobox for using profanity many times in his comments. We are very strict about that, and therefore we do not tolerate it.
Yes, and thank you for that. I cannot be everywhere all the time, and so I might miss something unless you guys help me out by reporting it. Everyone can help out to make Algobox a fun and safe place by reporting bad behavior such as when someone uses profanity (cuss words) or when someone threatens another person (bullying). Please don't confuse bullying with rudeness. I occasionally receive reports like this: "He was being mean to me" or "He said he hates my blue marble" or other such silly complaints. I do not respond to every little picky complaint about someone being rude or maybe they said something that the person doesn't agree with. Those kinds of complaints waste my time, and I usually will ignore them. Just to let you know.
Yes, rcdragon was wrong, and he is now paying for his bad behavior. And yes, you can make any kind of scene that you want as long as it doesn't violate the Algodoo rules or Terms of Service which are what you agreed to when you registered.
The only scenes I make in which I don't allow comments are the "Message" type scenes in which I am explaining something like certain rules, or maybe just informational messages. All other scenes, like games and puzzles do allow comments.
z36700 - Please do not use the REPORT link because someone may have said something that you don't like or that you do not agree with. The REPORT link should only be used for reporting another user who violates the Algodoo rules or Terms Of Service. In other words, if they use profanity (what means dirty words) or if they threaten another user with bodily harm or other serious offenses. Do not report someone for being rude. Just learn to ignore those kinds of comments because I will not do anything about that. I cannot waste my time breaking up fights between little children who cannot get along with each other. My time is too valuable for that nonsense.
It is customary for the host of a contest to build and demonstrate an example of the thing that he is telling everyone else to build. That way, others can see an example of what the host is describing. If you do not do that, then you are being lazy and expecting everyone else to make something that you are not willing to spend the time and effort to make.
You have been warned a number of times about not posting message or "chat" type scenes, but so far you have ignored my warnings. I have only a limited amount of patience, and so if you do that one more time, you will be banned from Algobox. I hope you won't make that happen.
Add the text I show above in onCollide between the curly brackets like this .....
(e) = {text = "Red is eliminated"} Make sure you type it exactly as I show here. Then increase the textScale value to some larger number than what you had. About 3.0 or 4.0 should be about right but you can adjust that to the size that you need.
Try this and see if it works now....
IF you still can't make it work, let me know and I will post a scene for you with the correct script.
