technically, i had that thruster a long time ago...
http://www.algodoo.com/algobox/details.php?id=33017
it still works with angle bigger than 360 degrees. he's measuring angle in radians...
that robot was made during algodoo beta testing.
weird, both are the same kind of missile.mayeb i set the gyro spin constant to something too high even after i downscaled it...
credit repgahroll
that might be the video lag. or the laser's position, not sure.

EDIT: found the final cause. there's a fixate missing on the wing, making it to kill itself.

nah, i got missiles for that kind of game:P.

next - attempt to make it to lead its shots ahead of the target, or even fire only when you're within a certain degree of accuracy of the target.

glad to see my scenes being used for effect by others.

where's the mongoose and the arbiter?

no, the block wasn't scripted at all - he just typed the value in the text box(check advanced mode?)

also, i've seen that thing before - but don't remember the author.
it's not fully finished yet. also, have you noticed the fixjoint gluing it to the background?
next: LMAOplane...

also, airfrictionengines make choppers to be too unrealistic.
nem tanto - eu ja tinha essa ideia antes. e não são os lasers que geram os círculos são os próprios cilindros, que tem uma sonda detectora de velocidde neles...
well, you changed the motor positionand removed that fixate.... read the collab rules.
you don't need a killer for the engine - oncollide will do the trick.
you could use the for() function for spawning the circles without excessive lines of text
...

just increase pointer mass for it. also, that tracker was an old model - has problems on quadrant transition.

still, if you want it on a smaller version...
[scene]33318[/scene]

keep in mind you'll have problems on quadrant transition.

i'll try to work on a PGM later on...

i've seen better cars.

also, i would like to inform the rotary cannon is not yours.
remember to set sim.frequency back to1000
@ree4160: are you running algodoo?
use my RA2unit. works with phun AND algodoo. but you'll need to add a stretched hinge rotation dampener - which depending on the stuff you're using, can be heavy.

for the walking mechanisms, use springs with changing length to emulate the myomers.
technically, you just removed all of the air from the scene - therefore, i decided to create my own EMP, uploaded as a scene response
agree with davidz.
once i did something similar, but using a fixed mirror and a variable refractiveindex instead. didn't upload it because it was just for fun

nice scene anyways, so, 10/10.

yeah, concept was yours RaRa, but davidz was the first to use lasers for doing so:coolgrin: , so he can still get(partial) credit for it. still, credits must be given, as scenes uploaded to phunbox get a CreativeCommons3.0 license.
awesomely boring is an oxymoron... awesome stuff NEVER gets boring.
at least credit me for the spawner if you intend to use it

also, i LOL'd at the "scene.addwater" part... brilliant way for a newbie to get rid of scripts without knowing what they are for:lol:, and at the "unlimited ammo" announcement - you got 2278 bullets left instead of infinite bullets left.

voce pode criar um sistema com infinitas marchas - seria só obter o ângulo em que o laser bate como a pseudo relação das engrenagens.

--english translation by myself

you can create a system with potentially infinite gears - you just need to obtain the laser's angle as the fake gear ratio.
@oriol1993: it only balances something not much heavier than its own weight. it uses a very high air friction too, so it will not be the most viable thing in the world. also, it needs gravity to work.

i like the idea of using segmented parts for measuring angle, even when you still need the gravity for it to work - which must be poinitng down, and its acceleration factor. hovewer, it gives limited precision, so i simply use probes to track the angle by using math, and even the possibility of eliminating the use of scene.my variables, making it to be phunlet safe... in most circumstances.
congratulations for getting the 35000th scene uploaded on phunbox!
you'll need a improved feeding system and also to make sure that the bullets don't get accidentally killed.
