But I get the feeling like you still do not understand what I have been telling you. I explained it the best that I know how, and it seems to me that anyone should understand it, and so I am puzzled as to why you still do not understand it! It is so simple!
I do not want to give up on you, so please tell me the best way you know how, what it is that you do not understand about what I told you? Are you still confused about rotating the chess board by 90 degrees?
Mits - please don't "guess" what someone else is thinking. Unless you can read his mind, please be quiet.
I want to hear directly from him, not through you!
Mits - It's not funny at all. Many of us who appreciate Algodoo for its power and its wide variety of physics simulation tools miss the "old days" before Algobox was overrun with children posting static stickman and algocathlon scenes. We are hoping that the current changes will at least get us back a small percentage of the website that we lost to them over the past few years.
Hazevision550 - Yeah? What about your BFDI poses? What do you expect me to do about it? Should I research every scene from the last ten thousand Algobox pages and try to figure out who stole your poses? Do you realize that I would be working on that for the rest of my life and I would not have any time to eat, sleep, or potty?
That's why I prefer that people try to work things out on their own. Contact the person who you think "stole" your BDFI poses (or whatever) and ask them to remove them from their scene if it really bothers you. If they ignore you, or tell you to go jump off a bridge, then you can contact me by clicking on the "Report" link. But don't simply write "He stole my color" or "He used my pose", and that sort of rubbish. You need to be very specific so that I can determine if what you claim is true. If you do not provide enough information, then I will not be able to look into it.
People do not understand "Credit" and how to use it! I've said this a thousand times..... Just writing "Credit to (user name)" means nothing! You first must ASK PERMISSION from the person if you want to steal, um, I mean use their scenes or parts of scenes. Only IF they give you permission, then you can go ahead and use their stuff in your own scene. If they do not give permission, then NO, do not use their stuff! If they do give you permission, then out of courtesy you can write "Credit to (user name)" so that others will know who you got the scene or item from.
Not weird at all. In fact, it's quite common. It happens because you either drew an object over a plane which happens to have the same collision groups enabled (in this case collision group "A" is checked on both the object and the plane), or you forced an object down below the upper surface of the plane. When you start Algodoo, the object behaves as if it were a ball being held under water. It will launch itself up to the surface very fast, but in the real world, the object doesn't jump out of the water more than a very short distance and then ends up floating on the surface. In the Algodoo world, an object launches way up in the air, practically in orbit around the Algodoo world!
You can do the same thing with any object. Make a box or a circle above the plane, and its collision layer will default to "A". Then start Algodoo, and with the Grab Tool, grab the box or circle and pull it below the surface of the plane by just a short distance and let it go. The object will launch straight up like a rocket!
Hey Maks Maks -- If you make a new account then I will have to ban your old one because we do not allow more than one account per person. You know that, right?
Jade3308 - First of all, you do not tell me how I should do my job. I will decide what action should be taken, if any. Secondly, the proper way to report an offense is to use the Report link. If a scene violates the rules then you click on "Report" near the top of the page. If someone breaks the rules in a comment, then click on the orange triangle with an exclamation point inside of it located next to the comment that you want to report. Then explain what the offense is (such as, profanity or threatens another user, or buying/selling stuff on Algobox, and those sorts of things). That's how you are supposed to report someone.
It's like learning a new language, or learning how to play a musical instrument. It seems awkward and difficult at first, but after a while, your brain grows accustomed to it, and it starts to feel more natural. Scripting is the same way. It seems hard at first, but just learn from other people. That's how most of us has learned. And ask questions. Most people who know how to script are nice and friendly. They will usually be willing to help anyone who needs help. But they won't do all of your work for you! It's up to you to learn the basics, and then start making some basic scenes. After a while your scenes will become more complex and more awesome!
Pootis-Man -- I'm not sure what you are saying, but if you believe that we are eliminating marbles, algicathlons, and camps, NO we are not! The group filters allow a person to select groups that they have no interest in, and so they will not see those kinds of scenes on the Algobox pages of displayed scenes. That's all! So, for example, if you select "technical" group in "Settings", then you will no longer see any scenes that were placed into the Technical group.
Maks Maks -- I deleted that offensive comment and I sent that user a warning. I don't think he will bother you again, but if he does, please report him!
Oh, by the way, Did you read my comment about having multiple accounts? Please reply so that I know you got it!
Your joke DID get posted in the comments of Ultragamer's scene. So, it appears that you are not having problems posting comments. Just thought I would tell you this in case you didn't know it.
1. What are you sorry for?
2. Why do you beg for comments? Are you lonely and need someone to chat with?
3. Why do you write in that strange way with numbers and letters? Do you do that for the attention that you think it gets you?
First off, what makes you think that the wall between the US and Mexico is "for no reason"? Trump got it right when he said that people are pouring into the US now, and we have no idea if any of those people want to commit a crime, or blow themselves up along with other innocent people. The problem isn't the good Mexican people who are seeking a better life here in the US. It's the few people who want to do us harm. The terrorists and criminals who sneak in among the crowds of good people.
I don't like Trump either. He is immature like a 9 year old school boy. But I am going to vote for him just so Hillary Clinton doesn't get elected. Our country will never be the same if she gets in.
We do not allow more than ONE user account per person. Let me know which one you want to keep (Mits or Mitsreturns) and I will ban the other one. You can contact me by responding to this comment. If I do not hear from you soon, then I will choose to ban your old account (Mits).
Maks Maks - What's wrong with you? I asked you a simple question and your answer makes no sense at all. I don't know what Ubuntu is and I don't care. I just want to know if you read my comment about you registering another user account. Can you answer that simple question without rambling about Ubuntu or some other thing that has nothing to do with my question?
