S.A. - Thanks! :)
Okay, questions:

1. Why do you have tracers attached to the circles with zero fade time?
2. How does the artificial attraction work? (please explain what the local variable "_launch" is used for).
3. What are the lasers used for?
4. Why are some circles stuck together with axles?

What you did here is a mystery, and I hate mysteries! That's what makes this scene so interesting to me!
Nice demo scene!

I played around with various parameters, and, as a result, I got the spaghetti to break in a way that is more like a piece of natural spaghetti. That is, the stick now breaks in 3 to 5 pieces (not counting the two end stubs which never break off). I set the sim frequency to 390 Hz, and I set both drive motors to 7.0 RPM. I also check-marked the "toggle" box for the left arrow key so that I don't have to manually hold it down.
Algodoo is not a place, and it's not a website, and it's not a game. Algodoo is a program, a physics simulation program, to be specific. This website is named Algobox. So, if you think that you have the biggest, the strongest, the fastest, whatever, it's in Algobox, not in Algodoo! Now, get that right from now on or else kilinich will send you to Siberia for the rest of your life.

The scene is much more interesting now. Good job on the enhancements!

Just curious -- Why do you set the sim time factor to: 1.0 / sim.frequency? Is there an important relationship between the time factor and the frequency which must be maintained?

Thanks
Hey, S.A. -- Are you playing games with me? Hannibal Lecter is not exactly a great role model, and so I do not agree with your tit-for-tat suggestion. Either kindly answer my questions or not, but please do not base your response on whether I agree to help you with your ambiguous request.

Thanks
S.A. - Okay, thanks for answering my questions. :)

Concerning your next scene, I don't really know if I could help you or not, so the best thing to do is to ask questions as you run into snags, and I will try my best to answer them. That's all I will commit to. If you post your questions in the comments section of your scene, then maybe other people can make suggestions too!
DontTellHarry1701 -- You shouldn't criticize other people's language skills when your own spelling and grammar skills are far from being perfect. For example, the first word of a sentence should be capitalized (3 errors in your comment). The word "English", which is a proper noun, should be capitalized (3 errors in your comment). The sentence "do u even english?" is totally botched for many reasons. Some are: 1. "u" is not a word. 2. You are using the word "English" in that sentence as if it were a verb, but it is a noun (and, as mentioned before, it should be capitalized). Next, the sentence, " you murdered the english language harder than i've ever seen it murdered before.", makes no sense at all because a language cannot be murdered. Also, you claim that you've seen English murdered before, which is impossible. I'm sure there are more errors in your comment (such as in that ludicrous final sentence, but I don't want to spend too much more time and space here bashing your comment).
Happy Birthday! I turned 14..... Um...... Well...... er...... a very long time ago!
What is this and what does it do?
Holy cow, pnvv! That's like a Wankel engine on steroids, with a bunch of extra parts thrown in for good measure!
lethalsquirrel - Very nice job on the scene! I didn't realize how complex the driving mechanism was until I highlighted the entire scene and then saw all those timing gears and stretched axles! WOW! :o

BTW - I rated it a 10.

@InsertNameHere - You should edit the scene and put the correct number of candles on your cake! (It would be funny if you make the kind of candles that relight soon after you blow them out! :y )

Well, not any more because I had some fun playing around with your scene! :)

I noticed that the tach readout was not quite accurate, and it wasn't linear across the entire range. So, I did some tweaking and arrived at the following change in the tach axle code: bendTarget = {scene.my.rpm / 25.8 - 2.44}

Try it, and see if you get the same results that I got (i.e., more accurate and more linear).
NP! :)
Silent Bender - Sorry, but your definition of a push-rod is not correct.
Push rod definition: "A rod in an overhead-valve engine that is part of the linkage used to open and close the valves."

It has nothing to do with whether chains or belts are used to spin the cam shaft.

I don't understand what this is or what it is supposed to simulate. Could you please explain it? :s

You did a great job on the scene.
You made autobend = true on all the axles in the rope on the right side, but it still freaks out and breaks apart when a load is placed on it! Why is that different from the chain on the left side?
I have 17998 downloads. :o

EDIT: I downloaded two more to make an even EIGHTEEN THOUSAND!

Huh? :s I don't understand what you said.

I'll explain why I'm confused.

1. You stated that you have a great fix that makes chains and ropes much stronger and less likely to freak out. The fix is to make autobend = true in every axle.

2. Your scene is supposed to demonstrate your fix by showing how strong and resilient the chain on the left is by supporting a heavy weight. The chain is stronger because you made every autobend = true.

3. The rope on the right is weak and breaks apart when the weight falls on it, BUT (and here is the mysterious part) you already made autobend = true for all of the axles in the rope on the right! So, my question is, why does the rope freak out and break even though you made autobend = true which is supposed to fix the problem and make the rope much stronger? What's going on here?
Much better! :)
This looks like a nice game, but you give no instructions how to play it! :o
So, what keys do we press to do what actions? What is the theme of the game? How can the player win? What things must be avoided, etc.
Just as a suggestion, you should put the game instructions either in the scene description or in the game itself so that people know how to play the game. Most people cannot read your mind!
Huh??? :s

3 AM is past my bed time.

I hope you are not playing around with your dad's shotgun! :o You can accidentally kill people (even your own mom and dad) if you mess around with guns without proper training.

Learn how to script like I did by reading about it in the Algodoo forum. No one is going to spend many long hours teaching you how to script, so you will have to learn on your own, and occasionally ask questions. The Algodoo forum is your friend, and don't be afraid to use it!
I've heard of the Atkinson engine because of Algodoo! There are about 5 or 6 previous scenes, and one or more were done way back in 2009! It's mechanically very interesting, but not very practical. That's why you don't see Atkinson cycle engines in every car, bus, and truck on the highways.

Nice job on the scene, especially since you threw it together in a half hour.
NO! You need to show us a signed note from mommy or daddy.
TheBFDICoiny has been banned because he registered more than one user account. His original user name is "Aiden H", and that's the only one that he can use.

It's magic!

LOL, Okay, seriously, it was mostly done with Thyme scripting.

Scripting is a type of programming language which gives you a lot more power than you have with just the basic Algodoo functions (such as onCollide and onLaserHit, etc). I know what your next question will be...... "Will you teach me Thyme Scripting?"

Short answer: NO! It requires a lot of time to learn it. You also need to understand advanced math concepts if you want to use it to its fullest potential. Since you are only 11 years old, I suspect that you haven't learned much more than add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Sorry....
