vaidas369 - I don't understand your question. You can upload scenes ANY TIME day or night! So don't worry about it being too late because it is never too late!
And I am not located in Sweden. I live in the U.S. The company Algoryx is located in Sweden, but Admins are located around the world. For example, one guy lives in the U.K., and another lives in Russia, and I am in the U.S. So, there is an international effort to promote and maintain the program Algodoo, and the website Algobox!
Thanks for offering the burgers to me, but I'm afraid I will have to pass on it because the air fair would be too expensive!
I played around with this scene again, and after readjusting everything so that the entire structure is balanced, and all springs are balanced, then it doesn't fall. So, the reason why it was falling is because of my first comment above when I said that the structure was not balanced. That's it! Just a basic issue of not being careful enough when constructing it to be sure that everything is balanced. Oh, and one more important thing..... You have to make it so that everything is stable when the scene is started. The way you designed it is NOT stable, and so the top structure falls onto the rest of the structure knocking the entire thing to one side. So, after making sure that everything is balanced, you also need to stabilize that top structure so that it doesn't fall when the scene starts.
We must have very different computers because your engine will not run for more than a few seconds when I reduce all spring constants to 5*10^5. But I noticed that it does seem to be much more stable when I increase the sim frequency to 200. It runs continuously without stopping or exploding!
Technically, this is not animation. It is simply mechanical motion. Animation is when a series of individual images are shown which gives the illusion of motion.
altugdelen2 - Well, I assume that she has a very creative dentist who also has some very good mechanical skills. Why do you ask? Would you like a set of gears installed in YOUR mouth?
You guys are welcome to come to my house this Spring when I start cooking on my grill. Just let me know your flight number and I'll pick you up at the airport!
Hi S.A. - Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not planning on making any changes or improvements to this scene. If you would like to build on it and implement the suggestion that you mentioned, then go ahead and make a scene response to it. I'm sure that whatever you come up with will be quite interesting.
stampylonglegs - Why do you keep making comments about Algocards? That is no longer an issue so you need not be concerned about it. And just so you know, MarbleRaced did not cancel Algocards, I did. I am the Admin here on Algobox who is responsible to make sure that people play by the rules.
Hi VehiclesAndStuff005 --
I don't know why you keep stating that this scene is for YouTube. There is nothing about this scene that is different from any other Algodoo scene. Well, since you are a new user here on Algobox, there are some things about Algodoo that you will learn over time.
I am the Admin who watches over things here and who makes sure that everyone plays by the rules. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment on any of my scenes (search on my name, and you will see my list of scenes that I have uploaded over the past couple of years).
The file is huge mostly because of the large texture files. Those texture files could be reduced by modifying the files with an image editing program such as Photoshop or PaintShop Pro. With an image editing program you can reduce the file size while making hardly noticeable changes on the modified images. This is just a suggestion.
What is the illusion? All I see is a spinning solar system, but it doesn't seem to produce any kind of illusion. Please explain what I should be looking for. Thanks
First off, the green box reads "To fire, press B". It should read "To fire, press Enter".
Next, I tried loading and firing a number of times and I cannot get it to fire. Each time when I remove the spent cartridge case, the bullet just floats out of the breech right in front of the case!
Just for your information: That "tube thingy" you refer to is the bolt, and what you call the "bullet" is actually the cartridge. The part of the cartridge which is the projectile is called a bullet. People who know little to nothing about guns usually call the cartridge a "bullet".
If you can get the gun to fire, then maybe we can work on fixing the scoring system.
@zaydenm - I agree with you. It's your scene, and you can spell Algocataltholynagolon any way you want to!
BTW - I asked "why", which is, why do you ask people to tell you which 2 got last? All you need to do is to run the scene and then you will see for yourself which 2 got last! Make sense?
SA, Sure, I'd be happy to help you, but I do not consider myself a scripting "expert", and so I may not be able to answer all of your questions.
So how do you want to proceed? Maybe a good way would be to just upload your unfinished scene, and ask questions about it right there on the scene page. Agree?
kink10 -- I don't know what "tja" means, but other people have been complaining that you stole their car and used it in your own seen. Did you copy it from someone else's scene?
