I could do it, but it would take me a huge amount of time to do it right. Some other guys are more talented than I am and could probably whip out a working robot scene in a couple of hours!
Well, faytree, apparently you DID forget him because his screen name is Paradigm 29 (not 24)!
Anyhow, he certainly is very talented, and he has created some very complex mechanical scenes. Unfortunately, he hasn't posted anything new since July 2011.
MrLucasManSwe -- Well, first of all, you do not have any scenes that are set up like a contest. Secondly, I looked through all of your scenes, and none of them show a title of "pimp my crashable", therefore I don't know what you are referring to. And besides those things, there are lots of other reasons why a person would want to, or not want to enter a contest. Some of those reasons are, the quality of the contest scene. The reputation of the user sponsoring the contest. The phase of the moon in relation to Mars and Jupiter. etc.
Why did you type on the screen? The scene doesn't say anything about typing on the screen. And yes, the big red button does work. Push it and see what happens!
You don't know why you make it? Were you sleeping at the time you made it and uploaded it?
By the way, a number of the scenes that you upload belong to other members. For example, this scene shows the author to be "messiah". If you copy and upload scenes that belong to other people, then I advise you to stop doing that because some people get very upset when others "steal" their scenes or parts of their scenes. It's always best to get written permission from the original author of a scene before you upload it.
altugdelen2 - We do not allow drawings or static pictures as scenes here on Algobox. Algodoo is not a "drawing" or art program, but rather is a physics simulation program. Therefore, we prefer active, "dynamic" scenes that make use of Algodoo's many simulation functions which will show off its many capabilities. Normally, I would delete a scene like this one (not because I'm a hard #$%, but because it's part of my job as Admin), but I will give you the opportunity to make something more of this scene than just a drawing. If you do not want to do that for any reason, then please go ahead and delete the scene so that I won't have to. But if you can modify it into some sort of action scene, then that would be even better!
Tags are in the left column (click on "Add tag"). People will not find your tags that are listed in the description if they check only the "tags" checkbox in search. I wasn't sure if you knew this, so I thought I would enlighten you just incase you did not.
Could you describe a real-world application for constant curvature bending, and also explain how is the material modified so that it bends in such a manner? Maybe give a website link?
Why don't you make scenes that DO some sort of ACTION? Algobox is not an art exhibition website! Nearly all of your scenes are static images of weird zombie creatures.
The Linkage - Nope, not true. Kilinich is a talented Thyme scrip writer, but he is not the "leader". In fact, there really is no "leader" here on Algobox. I am the most active Admin, and I do my job making sure that people don't abuse the system, but that's about it. The "boss" is probably Emanuel who is an employee of Algoryx. He has the authority to shut this website down or to do whatever else he wants to do with it. But he's a great guy, so I doubt that he will shut it down (I sure hope not!).
No need for other people to change the sim frequency because it will be set to the same frequency that it was set to when the scene was saved on your computer. Also, clouds are not necessary, so disable the clouds before saving the scene. Other than that, you did a great job on this scene!
Rant: "speak or shout at length in a wild, impassioned way.", sort of like what you are doing in your comments!
BTW - You do not need to post a new comment each time you think of something more to say about a subject. Just click on EDIT. It's the little blue piece of paper and yellow pencil icon just above and to the right of your comment. Well, you cannot do that if all you use is the Algodoo built-in browser. But if you use a regular Internet browser such as I.E. or Firefox, then you should be able to edit your comments. Okay?
That's really not an optical illusion. It's just an "effect" that occurs when you view a spinning object on a TV screen, computer screen, or movie theater screen. It's called the Wagon-wheel effect
The robot is difficult to see because you made it so dark with a dark blue background. It's best to have contrasting colors, and/or light shades over dark background, or dark shades over light background. Being able to SEE your scene is just as important as how well it works. Just some friendly advice.
ZachKiller12 (I assume that you are ZachKiller12's mom or dad) - I sent user badcompany a warning message about being rude to other members, and if that behavior continues, he/she will risk being banned from Algobox. We Admins do not condone that kind of behavior.
