I believe that's a limit for algodoo. Insane coding)

Added glider gun!

On custom form screen: Gliders by the dozen - methuselah with a lifespan of 184 generations. Its name arises from the fact that it emits exactly 12 gliders before stabilizing.

No, problem, I could explain it for you)
In all prev versions were calculation of neighbors for each cell. Instead of that, here cells only send notifications to neighbors if its status changed. Plus optimization of storing neighbors maps and entity IDs, removing post step code for static cells etc.

s_noonan - Not all patterns end in "everyone dead". Some end as blinkers or gliders, etc. I think it would add too much to the code to check for a specific state of the cells, especially now that this game is unlimited with no borders.

I had one that ran 2364 generations and 300 cells :lol:

Gent, its depend on how many cells is you start pattern. Some discovered patterns only 7 cells with lifespan more than 5000. http://www.conwaylife.com … ethuselahs

Gent, some oscillators, ships are stable but cells is changing.
