nice! it truly is FAST, but is it the FASTEST? I don't know. I guess people may have to do some searching to determine that. (I'm too lazy to  )

Tracks are more trouble than they're worth, to me, but you did a great job!

I've done some searching. I can't really find anything. But you're right you never know.
Nice work. The flag is a handy thing to have when your driving in commuter traffic.
nice
Maybe. I have tank that can go 26-28 m/s(100 km/h) on 200 hz. Length 6 meters.
Yeah, at 200 Hz
anyways it IS fast
2 The Linkage,

You may want to seek some professional help regarding your sim.frequency phobia. The higher the sim.frequency, the more accurate the simulation is.
I personally believe 60 is far too low to do any serious work in algodoo. It's borderline useless.
and anything less than 200 isn't ideal for any sort of mechanism with high tolerances and fast moving parts like engines.
I use 200 Hz in all my scenes because I think 200 should be the standard for algodoo and I stand by that.
Yeah steve you're right  i have always preferred 100 Hz xD
What I mean is that maybe there're tracked vehicles in Algobox that go 3/4 the speed of this one but have 100 Hz, so this wouldn't be the fastest.
Besides I can make a 1200 Hz tank that goes to the speed of sound (xD) and it would be the fastest ;)
Anyways this is the best one i've seen so far. And I'm not trolling anyone if you thought so
Yeah, default should be 120 or more (at least you can change default)
How do you change Hz?
Anyway,this is(drumroll for an hour)
EPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYERC
Wow, this baby is not really bad! But I am sure many other people already have made contraptions faster/as fast as this. But I could go 35 m/s @600 Hz and this is pretty impressive. Any higher, then the speed starts to dive down in an inversed proportion.

And for the sim.frequency, I highly believe that it should be at least be @120 Hz, and 240 Hz for quality product, and for high precision contraptions, it should be @ 300 Hz. For the high end PCs out there, of cause, 600 Hz. 1200 Hz is just overkill- it should be only used for slow-motion purposes. And the frequency should always be in step with your monitor's refresh level, like 60 fps, 120 fps and so on.

Anyway, this is a good impression!:D
I got it to run the fastest at 480 Hz, anything over that makes it go slower.
It's not really necessary to have frequencies in step with your monitor. you're new here, but the old default was 100 Hz and I use 100 in most scenes and you won't even notice unless you have lag
Sim frequency has nothing to do with your monitor's refresh rate. it's simply how many times Algodoo calculates the scene per second.
Not so beautiful as your tank, but faster without auto-brakes on track's sections

Yo dawn we heard you leik speed, so I put speed into yo speed so you can accellerate while you accellerate , I made it faster.
i created a faster one:P
but nice try!:)
