An example of the rate of fire increase you get from scripting the recoil spring. I don't think this has been done before. hopefully it can change the way people make guns in Algodoo.

Using script to improve the recoil action is a great idea, and there are a lot of other areas in guns and other mechanical devices that can be greatly improved with some added script. Unfortunately, many Algodoo'ers have "scriptophobia" and refuse to learn even rudimentary scripting. Well, it's their loss I guess.

Good job!
My thoughts exactly, Xray! There seems to be a rift between scripters and mechanical builders here in algodoo. I used to be one of those "scriptophobics" too, but I'm slowly learning and trying to join the two together.
Just the tiny amount of script I know opens a ton of possibilities and makes me wonder how I lived without it!

I have so many ideas that could make guns better by using script. such as changing the collision layers of the shells so they don't hit the gun, and simple things like that.
