Are they supposed to penetrate through the coals? It looks a little awkward that they're moving in a circular motion in and out of the coals.
Actually, I did not plan how they move. I was playing around with one of these guys and accidentally saw this type of motion, and it reminded me of someone burning their feet while walking over hot coals. So, if it looks awkward (and I agree that it does) it's just how it turned out. The scene was intended to be funny, not true-to-life!

Thanks!

XD this is awesome! I laughed when they "scream" in pain.
Thanks, ngphil! Every once in a while I get the urge to make a funny or goofy scene, and that's how this one turned out. :y

BTW - If you let the scene run for a while (you may have to rewind it and start over) those guys will sometimes do something unexpected, and it's often very funny. For example, I saw one of them walk over the guy in front of him, and then all of a sudden, the guy on the bottom flipped up in the air, spun around, and then landed in the coals on his butt! He was not able to stand up, but it looked so realistic like he was struggling to get up. It was actually kind of weird, almost like he was really struggling. :o

 Reminds me pretty much of the circles of hell from Dante's 'Divine Comedy'
let's hope these guys are not aware of their eternal doom (or are they?)

Yes, those works by Dante in which he very vividly describes what hell is like sure makes one think long and hard about it. Concerning the guys in my scene, are they any different from US? That is, some people believe that WE are nothing more than digital creatures living in a complex computer program (not unlike The Matrix). Who can say what is real and what is a digital representation of reality? We have no way of knowing for certain.

Thanks for your comments.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha.i was laughing my head of when they scream in pain.Do they go down if they get burn too much?

AWSOME!!!
Thanks Natasha!:)
Risking to go far off topic, I'd like to add that, for example, chinese I-Ching cosmology really seems to me as interpretation of that underlying "machine code" of the Universe, and Leibniz, the founder of binary calculus, was amazed and inspired by it. Even more, Castaneda's "lines of the world" are tree-like structures composed of binary emanations of Eagle, and then there is [binary] tree of knowledge in Christianity, and theory of strings, and quantum mechanics, and even our brains, composed of binary synapses - it all fits piece by piece into a huge puzzle.

And, according to Matrix - the Oracle gave us an amazing gift of free will, which enfuriates the Architect, but leaves us a chance to escape the "while(true) {struggle()}" loop, eventually.. Something that those running guys seem to be lacking..

Cheers! :)
I relly like it. I have notice that the hot coal is gigantic. I was playing the scene and just for fun I threw one of these guys away and he flew leaving a trail of smoke , it was really funy
when i pushed the blue man he bumped into someone else and fell!
