My attempt at a glock without thyme! It reloads hell fast and it's my first working gun. Don't complain it's slow if you have less than 90% sim time because of polygon collision, that would be your comp.
I DON'T CARE about aesthetics (added in v3 anyways xD). Just the working part, and even if it fails some times or it has some trouble reloading I've been working for less than a week on this (obviously not full time) and it works quite well!

It's overly complicated, for example look how the firing pin works (semi automatic)
All you have to do is to press F or to drag GENTLY the trigger (max force 250 Nm), then wait until a new shell is reloaded (when the blue triangles are aligned). If you fire it before the shell is COMPLETELY reloaded it'll break the gun. To reload a shell if it jams just drag some of the red parts, and if the old shell is still in, just force the new shell in, the old one should get out easily.
I know that the lock for the mag AND the mag are both crappy, but that's because I've made the gun first, and the mag system later. If you want to change the mag just drag up the little orange box that is at the bottom of the mag, ad to put a new one just take it, and push it till it gets secured, then drag some of the red boxes to load a bullet in the chamber.

Mah first gun! Tell me what I should fix/improve. I know that the bullet does some weird thing when it's about to position in the chamber (it gets out a bit and then positions to get fired) but I don't know how to fix that.

Fixed little glue together stupidness

v3: Improved look (lots) and fire rate and power a bit without changing bullets strenght
The only place where I use Thyme is in the diagram, to delete the arrows at sim start

Very nice! I've never really seen you making something like this. that being said I think you did awesome for it being your first gun! :tup:
The weird colors were just to differentiate the moving parts. If you want I can make it a body from the back texture
Works well but somewhat unrealistic
Real guns the round has to move forward into the chamber
they do not fire directly over the magazine;)
Still a nice effort I have been wanting to model my
High Point 4595 carbine in Algodoo this may inspire me to get started :lol:

Yes, I just took the easy way. It's not looking realistic (right now!) anyways but this won't be my last gun. What I liked of this gun is that even if it doesn't work like a real one it reloads fast.

Good job!! these gun its really fun to use... and it is running at 60 fps on my pc
Its not the framerate but the sim time... in my comp I can run it 30fps@30% sim time when its full of bullets and DAT KEVLAR, and when it has only 3 bullets with the floor plane as a killer it goes at 60fps@100% sim time. With low sim time you see it going smoot but slomo
