Working good now.

Use the winch to pick up water bucket and fill the bucket up in the pond then put out the fire.
Watch out for the lightning as you go through the obstacle course.

Crash on purpose to see the effect.

After I uploaded this scene I made a Huey Vietnam helicopter with rockets and a door gunner..... [scene]74700[/scene]

Hi wild bill -- Awesome scene, as always! Yes, the smoke does stop working after a few seconds. Except for that minor glitch, it's a really nice scene! :tup:

EDIT - The smoke works correctly now. Occasionally, the pilot's right arm, which operates the Collective, pops out of joint (the poor guy must be in terrible pain). But it's still a nice detail that the operator actually moves the Cyclic and Collective, just like in a real Helicopter. Nice work! :tup:

Thanks XRay, for some reason it seems like scenes made in v 2.0.2 that use spawning are bugged when you run them in 2.1.0. It works fine in v 2.0.2
It seems like its a sim.time thing, sim.time starts running for the spawned objects at the start of the scene instead of at the time the spawned object is created so its life is over before it starts since its only supposed to last a few seconds anyway if its time starts at time of spawning like its supposed to.

I have decided I suck at helicopters, have a nice 3D capable
mini RC copter that I can almost hover :lol:
Finaly got tired of buying rotor blades for it :blush:
Awesome. I was amazed at how cool the smashed copter looked (not that I'm a bad driver ;) ).

Regarding smoke:

If you replace "density = 0" with "Scene.RemoveEntity(entity)" in your smoke script then you won't get all the "ERROR - Body::IsBad" errors in the console. Another approach is to just use v2.1.0 (since it is now free) and set the timeToLive property of spawned smoke.
@Gent, I love RC copters!!!! Its strange but Im much more comfortable flying them than an RC plane.

@ Noonan, I havent used algodoo in soo long I was just finishing an old scene I started in v 2.0.2 but you are right I do need to start using v 2.1.0, Thanks for the useful info, I will repair the scene and re-upload.:tup:

Why not to use realistic heli engine?;)
You make your scenes your way, I make them mine.
I'll love you if you make as that copter, a nano quadrotor with only 2 rotors (2D) that controlls itself and make actions... I mean something like this:
Im making another helicopter scene right now thats a war scene with a spawn gun and missiles, so far it looks better than the last one with more detail and more to do.
