My Favorite car. For sure.
The 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C had "around" 425 HP and 480 ft/lbs of torque
and only weighed about 2,500 lbs. It had a 4 speed manual transmission and
a top speed of 165 mph.
everything about this car is made as accurate as possible.
HP, torque, rpm, speed, gear ratios, 0-60, 60-0, look, and much more.
I even added a torque curve, so the car makes peak torque
at a certain rpm and less on either side. There is also a tire
smoke affect.

Arrow keys (Up) and (Down) to shift
( S ) to start
( Z ) gas
( X ) brake
( C ) clutch

You must push the clutch and let off the gas to shift. it's a
little tricky, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it. Enjoy! I added the ability to stall the engine, so make sure you give it gas before you drop the clutch. The tire bug is also fixed. If there are any more problems let me know! please rate and

(NOTE) this scene runs at 400 Hz ( sim. frequency=400 )

How to start it?
To put it in first, You have to hold the clutch ( C )key and press the ( Up ) arrow so that the shifter moves up into first. then you can push the gas.( Z )key

Then there's the C/S model, which had 480 bhp, and went 185. How would one go about the modification process to up the power?
The scènes that you have upload are not working for me. Engine is locked the shifter dont move.
How do you make the gauges follow you while the car is moving like that? I've been trying to figure that out for a while
Lethalsquirt. You are going to laugh because all I did was attach the gauges to the car. I made the gauges density .001 or .01 at most and gave it 0 airfrictionmult.

If you want to modify it, for 480bhp, you need to find out what that engines peak torque is in n/m, and multiply it by 7.79 . Then you need to subtract 3000 from that and divide that by 60 then add 120. Then you need to go the the car, find the two invisible wheels that are where the engine would be, select the biggest on the left and go to its script menu. On the second line of scrip you will see where it says scene.my.change = 154.5 - angvel * (-2) . You want to change the 154.5 to the new number you calculated before. also notice that it will have to go over red line in order to reach 185 mp/h. I know this is kind of complex. sorry, I wish there was an easier way.

Problem!- Check draging the car , and suddenly, stop it , you will see the smoke of wheels in THE AIR!, that means that if the car is jumping, (in a remote case) and it collides with other object and the car stops in the air the smoke will appear! :|
altse99, I wasn't planing on making any more cars. I just made my favorite ones.

lethalsquirl, I glued the gauges to the chrome part of the front tire that doesn't rotate because I hinged it to the wheel and gave it infinite inirtialmultiplier.

I just managed to get the car up to 170 MPH Without anything going wrong.:tup:
