This is my 4th walker now and it is my smoothest yet!
It uses modified Klann Linkages and only 1 motor to keep time,
Please rate well and comment!!:tup:


Added the ability to run
New Controls:
Right arrow --- Walk right
Left arrow --- Walk left
Right and 'a' --- Jog right
Left and 'd' --- Jog left
'D' key --- Run right
'A' key --- Run Left
Down arrow --- Stop
This wasn't designed to run (just an after thought) so if it breaks
just reload the scene.
I've also added a better track with a jump you have to run up.

if you look left there is sme rough terrain for you to try, but it doesn't work too well.

Benjii, this is truly amazing! It runs very fast, i think this is the best walker/runner ever! :)
It's got a really smooth leg motion, but there's a couple of problems with it. The cogs powering/linking it are very loose, you'd be better off using Conundrumers circle gears. (

It doesn't have very high clearance, but I suppose that's a matter of preference.

Putting weight on polygons can sometimes make it glitch. It's good practice to create the feet seperately, out of circles and squares. It makes it stronger.

But other than that, good walker. :D

One question though, how are the Klann linkages modified?

1. I'll use Conundrummer's gears in an update, if he/she doesn't mind!
2. The clearance issue i do want to sort but i'm a little afraid of compromising the ride, so ive cheated a little and set the groung to a different collision layer to the gears!
3. The linkages aren't really modified much but they are just bent a little to imrove the performance and once i'd got it so smooth i didn't want to change anything.
Thanks for a bit of constructive critisism, it'll help a lot as i'm going to a work experience interview and i planned to show them this!!
I've abandoned the update as the changes have made it glich and break!!
So as it seems okay so i'll leave it for now!:tup:
