Yes, it's not an error: this engine contains 4 cross modules composed by 4 cylinders in which I put 7 pistons per cylinder: 7*4*4=112 pistons ! And it's tiny ! The angular velocity of the spheres is around 85 rads per minute, max 90, and I'm building a car with this engine to see if it's powerful or not:) The engine is composed by 1373 objects like 317 fixjoints, 272 hinges, 224 springs etcetera, with a total weight of nearly 2500 kg :lol: So, I've been doing this for like 3 hours, tell me what do you think commenting or rating the scene:)

Buttons are:
Down to brake (toggled)
Left/right to give the engine the rotation's direction and a little start (not toggled)

Oh right because it depends on frequency :*) By the way I improved a newer version with "only" 28 pistons and an angular velocity of maximum 150 rads/second :P But it hasn't a lot of torque, so I'm planning to create a newer one similar to this but bigger and with more torque :devil:

Ha, sim time 0.01 and frequency 10,000 got me 2,000 rad/s. Of course, I made the engine more powerful. Made the spring constant like 1,000,000 Nm. :lol:

Well considering that it's my second spring engine I have a lot to learn about this kind of engine :bonk: And yes increasing the constant increases the piston capability to pull the spheres and so bla bla bla...I haven't just a lot of time to spend with algodoo recently, too bad, but hey it's summer :*)
