I guess, in order to get the textured tires you cut out the ones of the picture. The result was that you don't have round tires. Simply select the tires, open the geometry actions menu and select "transform into circle". That should stop the jumping.
You could also try to make rims on your own, like I did with my bike. It's just my personal opinion, but I think that textures always look a bit strange in Phun.

There are many good tutorials for suspensions on Algobox.

nice job! just search up "Suspension Coil" then click the one with only a suspension coil but not wheels. then save the suspension coil after you delete the balls inside it, then install it to the car. if you need to scale the suspension its fine. its what I did with a VW hippie bus.:lol:
